"I can't believe your making us do this." Niki said shaking her head. "I can't believe Ryder is making me do this I mean it's been a week. I'm just a simple teacher. Like why am I here." Kiley said a little sad. "You are with me and you shape the minds of tomorrow what you do is more important than what we do, because baby let me tell you there's no way in hell we could do that." Ryder said kissing her cheek making her blush the rest of the guys shaking their head in agreement. "I know I couldn't." Jaxon and Axel said at the same time making them laugh a little deeper. It's been over a week since everything has happened, and everyone agreed to their first interview with an actual journalist. Normally the guys only stuck to the televised interviews so this cover article for the magazine and some for a local newspaper is an actual big deal, it's the most sought out interview no one else has achieved to get. The only reason Trevon Nelson got it was as a get back joke to get even at Noah and the rest of the group for all their pranks.
He walked in mouth dropped open. "OH MY GOD. You all are here you all actually showed up. So this is actually happening." Mr. Nelson said his head up on his mouth in disbelief. "Hello welcome to Sweet Temptations. You must be Mr. Nelson can we get you anything it's on the house." Jessie asked the man about her age with a big sweet smile. "Oh wow, um are you sure?" HE asked. "Of course, it seems like you maybe here quiet awhile with all of us we cleared our whole day to be here with you, so what ever you want whenever you want it's all on us." Jessie said to him. "Um can I have a sweet tea please for now. Please just call me Trevon, or Tre'." HE said smiling. "Alright than, here we go. Well come with me Tre' there are some great people I'd like you to meet you will call us by our first names only or the guy's stage names is also fine. You may call me Jessie or Jess only." She said flatly. Coming up to the tables they had about three tables and a booth set up for the couples to talk one on one with him.
"Ok family I would like you to meet Mr. Trevon Nelson who says to call him Trevon or Tre'. Tre' well just start left and work our way over to the right. This is Ms. Alexia Moore, or Lexi who is the most successful lawyer in over half the state who is in charge of the firm here in this town all the way through to Atheo towns. This is her boyfriend Axel 'the Axe' Graves I believe you already know all about the men so I'll just put more introduction to the partners." Jessie said. "That would be wonderful. Thank you." Tre's answered back. "I believe you know my future husband Xavier 'The Beast' Graves." She said winking to him blowing a kiss.
"Next to him on the next table over that they all so graciously shoved together. Mr. Eric Hernandez he is my partner and we actually own and operate this shop together now, being the most sought out bakery and sweet treat cater in this half the state an degrowing. I believe you know his boyfriend Noah 'The Devil' Bentley. This is Ms. Nikayla Williams we call he Niki, who is the owner and operator of the newly named The Magic Touch she is the most successful and sought out stylist with hair, nails, and make up this region wide so far." Her boyfriend Jaxon' The Blade' Brooks. The next lady is who makes me feel like a toothless okie education wise Ms. Kiley Evans. Kiley is one of the kindergarten teachers in town. Her boyfriend is Ryder 'Pyro' James. That's it Tre' that's the family."
"Well it is such a pleasure to get to meet all of you and for you to let me and our readers get to know you a little bit better, taking a look in your world so to speak. I know you all know just how big of a deal this is t every journalist at least a couple states wide knowing just how big your fan base is globally that is. So thank you all for meeting with me." Tre' said sincerely. "So I guess the question is who is going to go first?" Tre' asked looking around everyone looked around. "How about I put the guy's stage names in a bowl and Tre' you go and get set up and you can just pull names from the bowl and that is how will line up?" Eric offered. "That sounds perfect thank you Eric. I 'll juts set up in the booth and wait for the bowl thank you again. Just to let you know I am a huge fan and these questions are just from the online site so I will be writing the notes on the laptop if you're all ok with that? The questions are not mine personally so you can pass or skip or no comment on any of them at any given moment. The last thing I want to do is insult or disrespect any one of you after being so kind to do this in the first place." Tre' said as he turned back around and started to get his stuff set up. Eric came up with the bowl.
"How about you give me your power cord and plug you in, there is a secret outlet over here behind the wall which is why we set this up for you here. Also this is free wi-fi café. So feel free to tap on in also. "Thank you very much Eric I appreciate that." Tre' said smiling at him. He couldn't help but be impressed at how nice they have been to not only him but the employees and the other customers taking the time to talk to everyone single one like they've known them all for years. He loved these kinds of places that made you feel at home, and belong here. Smiling to himself taking a drink from the best damn tea he has had in a long time he pulled a name form the hat. "Devil. You are drawn first." Tre' said. "Why is it always me first?" HE said getting up from his chair. "Go on our fearless leader." Ryder said saluting him, only to have Noah flip him off. Eric and Noah sat in the booth. Formally shaking Tre's hand.
"Ok so one of our the MANY questions on the crazy ass list, excuse my language here is. Ok How did you two meet? " Tre' asked looking up to see if that was a question they wanted to answer. "That was a great day. So I run and operate the Devils Ring. I am apart of a group and one of the members is Xavier. Xavier had a like a six month crush on Jessie and would come here to this café every time he hoped she was working. One day he finally get s the guts to ask her out. HE comes to the ring that day and says he finally scored a date we were all really happy for him, of course most of us felt bad because we were all looking for someone of our own to and Xavier stared at me and said I needed to come with him here to this café the next day he thought I would enjoy it. Turns out he gotten to know Eric and Jessie the last six months and thought I would like him. So he got me here and introduced us and I haven't been able to go a day without seeing this man since." Noah said kissing the back of Erics hand making him blush. "That was a great story. You guys must all be pretty close to be looking out for each other like that. Sounds like you guys are the perfect wing man. Ok so as far as our fans are aware your group is climbing a social class ladder where everyone is either looking up to you guys, and everyone else is seeking your successful partners how do you guys handle dealing with the other persons success?"
"I don't think it's something we have to handle, honestly. I think it's something we get to celebrate. It's a lot easier than it sounds. We both basically just go to work and than come home and enjoy each others company. We tell each other about our days and than enjoy the company of the family here." Eric said. "How do you guys deal with the fans in public?" "It gets really hard sometimes. I mean you have no idea how hard I got to fight off some of the people who chase after him. I even got to push some of the visiting fighters who keep trying to claw to get through to him. I'm just amazed everyday at how many grown men are desperately seeking these damn treats from here. His fans are both wonderful and crazy." Nah said they all started laughing not being something he expected Noah to say. "It's true at most of the events we have to go to most of the guys have to fight off the some of the admirers looking for us to get jobs for them that includes Niki, and Lexi." Erica added.
"You guys seem like you get along pretty well do you have any secrets or pearls of wisdom for our readers?" "Well from the outsiders view of how we got started to now it would seem that we oved pretty fast and that is true in many ways. However everyone moves at their own pace that works well for them. It also so helps to remember to always be open and honest on what your both feeling, and want. Most people hold back certain things from each other but you know further down the road the only thing that does is hold you back from each other and hold you back form all the great things you could have been. Than you realize when it's too late you could have wanted different things instead of just being up front and honest about in the begging. So it's important to remember to be true and honest with each other and yourself."
"Last question where do you see yourselves with each other and your careers in about five years?" "Well I plan to run the Devil's Ring even after I retire from fighting. It's something that has become apart of me, and my family has been running it for years, I would like to keep that tradition going. I'm hoping to married to this wonderful man right here, maybe even a couple kids to pass all these things we've worked so hard for to be transferred to them." Noah said. "I hope to expand this place and still be partnered up to that amazing woman over there still taking this world by storm working on our way straight through the worlds heart by going through their stomach. With hopefully a kid or two married to this man right here." Eric said. "I doubt very seriously it would take us five years to get through half of that plan, but well see where this road takes." Noah said kissing Eric. "Thank you guy so much for your time I am going to be asking the group a couple of questions after everyone is done please if you can please stick around a little longer." Tre' asked. "Sure we can do that." Noah said proudly. "Where else am I going to go I can just go to work while we wait. "Eric laughed off.
"Blade. You're up." Tre' said. Jaxon and Niki came and sat in the booth he tucked her into his side keeping one arm around her on the booth's chair. "Ok guys I am going to ask just a few questions and after everyone is done I am going to be asking you guys group questions at the end so if you can please when we're done please stick around. Ok so the first one i've been asking everyone is how did you two meet? Only because it's always the beginning of great love story and were her to hear about all of yours." Tre smile which made them smile.
"Well that is one interesting story. It actually started with a favor to my cousin. I owed my cousin a huge favor who owed another girl a favor who apparently was a big fan of the boys and I so when she found out my cousin and I were related so she asked for a date with me. I begged Xavier and Jessie to go with me so it would be to awkward. That girl was the date from hell! She insulted us in every way possible she is what is known as a ring bunny in the fighting ring. However Jessie promised me if I gave it a fair shot she would hook me up on a blind date with one of her amazing her friends. SO after the date tanked and bombed, Jessie came through one fight night a while back. Jessie took me by surprise when she walked in the back of dressing room with Lexi, Eric, and Niki here." Jaxon said kissing the top of her head.
"So we went out that night and have been close together ever since. It was only brought to my attention that I never asked her to be my girlfriend when her cousin came up one day here at the café about Niki saying she has dated me so when he facetimed her with us around while she was at a family gathering I took upon myself to tell her she needed to stop telling people we only dated and that she was mine. It was actually a fun day. Turns out her family were big fans of ours so we literally spent the whole day hanging at her mothers house chilling with her whole family. It was nice it was the first time her family met mine." Niki was blushing the whole time. "Has your family actually met the Williams family?" Tre' asked. "Oh, ok guess it's time to clear the family family's tree. Xavier and Noah are the only ones who still ahs their parents around. See Ryder and I we grew up in orphanage because Ryders parents died in car accident when he was in his teens, and I was just never wanted I was a product of unwanted pregnancy, my parents are still happily together they just signed over their rights to the state. Axel's parents." Jaxon said pointing at Axel who just smiled and waved. "Lost them both to cancer actually four years ago, about six months apart both to different types of cancer. Xavier's dad and Axels dad are brothers. So Xavier's, Noah's parents are our parents now since we all met in high school and they pretty much looked after us this whole time, only now Niki, Kiley, Lexi's Eric's, and the scariest of them all big daddy Callan have taken over the parenting roles for all of us. All of my boys and I are lucky to have such amazing future in laws." Jaxon said proudly. Niki looked at him with shock, and than looked around at all the guys who just nodded along in agreement as their partners looked just as shocked next to them all turning red,.
"Wow that is such a heart breaking and yet heart felt story. Truly amazing to see how well you guys have done from kids to now even though you guys are all retired military vets, you have quiet an inspiring story." Tre' said awe struck. "Niki how do you feel about Jaxon's fighting career? Does either of your careers change or alter or effect your relationship?" "I actually fully support what he does. I know and understand how important fighting is to him, and if this is what he wants to do I fully support that. I actually love coming to fight nights and cheering my man on. Five years and he and this group is still undefeated they all worked hard even as teens to get where they are today they have earned every bit of success they have gotten. I don't think our careers have a hue impact. Except all the fan girls and at times fan boys who get all jealous about how we get to take these sexy men home at the end of the night." Niki said laughing kissing his Jaxon cheek, and playing with his hands.
"Please her career has a big effect on me at the Ring I have all the other fighter including some from other towns who try to not only getting themselves but their girlfriends, or wives an appointment at Niki's hair salon. This girl is crazy popular I have young girls who run up to me not for autographs but begin for appointments to The Magic Touch. I don't even blame them because my baby is the best hands down." Jaxon said happily. "What do you think the future may hold for the two of you further down this road?" "I plan on fighting until my body get's enough than I think I would like to be a stay at home dad. I think that would be amazing I had some great fatherly role model fathers growing up so I don't feel like I missed out on anything. I have more than enough saved up for retirement. I would like to married to this beautiful woman right here, watching her still be at the top of her game all old and grey, and a couple of kids and grandkids running around." "I would like to stay at my shop until my body can't do it no more. I will always be close to my family and hopefully down the road we could have a big one of our own." Niki said happily. "That is quiet an amazing role to be a stay at home parent. Not a lot of people get to have that honor and I will wish for you to complete that honor. Thank you guys I think we're good until the end." Tre' said shaking their hands.
"Ax. You're on." Axel and Lexi sat in the booth, shaking his hand formally. "Ok so after overhearing everything going in in this interview you pretty much understand kind of how things are going so I would like to dive right into how you guys met?" Tre' asked with a big smile loving how all this is going. Every story more intriguing as the next. "Oh that is a great story." Lexi said with a big smile. "It's really not." Axel said scratching the back of his head. "Oh, you only think that because you think you come off as some scared weird guy. I swear you don't." Lexi said. "I'll tell him, it will go so much easier for me if you really see it through my point of view. "So almost a year ago. Lexi packs up Jessenia and they come down here to get a fresh start. So turns out Lexi moves in a couple houses down from me. So I guess you can say I was always admiring her from afar. I would go to this café with Xavier as he had a big crush on Jessie, but Lexi would always come in and we all go tot know each other slowly but surely. However it wasn't until later on that I realize she didn't realize who I was. Than I realize she didn't know I was her neighbor. It was so disheartening.
"Once Xavier got a date with Jessie I came around with him one morning only for Jessie and Eric to let out that this beautiful creature was admiring me from afar too so I walked her to work one day finally manned up and asked her out been together ever since. From the outsiders perspective we probably move pretty fast but like Noah said everyone moves at their own pace. Once we finally opened up everything just falls into place." Axel said with a smile. "How do you two deal with each others success and does impact your relationship?" "I don't think our careers impact our relationship too much, but yes they do leave positive effects. I mean I love when we have gala or charity and all his other fighting friends come and meet all the others, it's just makes my heart smile to see these men and their families reaching out lending a hand helping out it's incredible, and I always make time for any of them who would need my help whether it's fighting for their family, or adoption, or divorces, or custody I always put time away to help them. So in away I think our careers are better with each other." Lexi said.
"I also love going ot watch my man fight he is incredible there is only five men in this sport who have gone five years each undefeated I am a proud woman." Lexi said with a smile reaching ear to ear. "Where do you see yourself down this road?" "That's a good question.' Axel said looking at Lexi who was looking at him. HE set a small box on the table. "You know ever since you popped into my world everything has become better, everything has some type of meaning, and hope. I know now that, that hope is my future with you for all the things I've ever wanted, for everything I ever needed is right here in front of me and there is nothing more I want than to have you wearing my ring, wearing my name, and hopefully down this road holding our babies. I want to be apart of this group of big bad ass fighters, who turn into stay at home dads when our time ends and watching and supporting you just crushing it at what you love you doing your job you worked so hard for everyday still being the best. I will show you everyday how much I love, and make sure you never regret saying yes. So Alexia Moore will you marry me?" Axel said as everyone including Tre' and Lexi mouth just hung open. "I think you guys would make sexy stay at home dads, in time that is down the road. But yes, I would love to spend my life with you." She said with her eyes getting watery. Axel eyes a little watery as he slide the beautiful ring that was a round Diamond with little diamonds swirled around it on a silver band. Kissing her deeply.
"Seriously best day of my career man. Congradualtions to you both." Tre' said with a deep smile shaking both of their hands. I think we're done here. Pulling a name form that bowl. "Pyro. Your on." After hugging the newly engaged couple sharing in their little family moment Ryder and Kiley have made their way to the booth. "OK well that was truly something awesome to see happen before your eyes right?" Tre' asked with a chuckle. Making the couple smile with him. "OK so I guess we will start off with how did you two meet?" Tre' asked. "Well we have two very special people in common and I am a groomsmen for Xavier, and Kiley is a bridesmaid for Jessie. Jessie actually had wanted to set Niki and Kiley up with me and Jaxon thinking that all of our personalities matched and all that fun stuff. I'll be damned if that women isn't always right too. "Ryder said with a laugh making everyone else around them laugh too, even some customers walking out of the shop. "So right when I decided to take up her offer I was trying on the tuxes with the other guys and in the store mama graves was sending the pictures of the bridesmaids in their dresses and once Xavier showed me Kiley's picture I was gone, sold, and soul delivered. That ended up with us talking and texting each other in the only fashion I know how to basically making a huge ass out of myself. I had finally given up ran to the future Graves home and pretty much begged for advice to ask her out only to have her in the room as I once again made another ass out of myself. So after one great date here we are." Ryder said happily. "SO you guys are pretty recent?" Tre' asked.
"Yes , but I honestly everything in me is telling me this is going to go somewhere amazing." Ryder added looking down at her. Making her blush. "So out of everyone here, they all can agree on one thing. They all agree that Kiley has the most important job, and that you are the smartest one here. How do you feel about your career compared to Ryders?" " I have no problem with his career and think all these men are very brave for being vet's and for what they do now. I believe it takes a strong man to be able to bounce back into society they way they did after all they been through and than to become such successful athletes with a the streak and will they have is incredible. I also know for a fact that the group is full crap about me being the smartest I honestly think that is Jessenia, I think deep down she is the heart and glue of all us being connected together whether anyone else sees it or not. I am thankful for the man she lead me to. I think this could be a great start to something amazing for us." Kiley said making the whole room smile deeply. Jessie being in the back working not hearing anything Kiley just said. Everyone looking at her and each other knowing Kiley was right.
"So where do you think you two maybe further down this road?" "The proud stay at home daddies club with my boys as my honey here continues on with her work shaping the minds of our future. There is not one doubt in my mind my future will not have this special woman in it." Ryder said looking down at his blushing shocked woman starring back at him. "You wait and see." He said to her not breaking eye contact. "I really loved what you had to say about this men and I think that is all I have for you guys right now." Tre' said shaking their hands.
"Beast." Tre' called. "Baby come on." Xavier said as he hollered for Jess to come out of the back as she and Eric filled everyone drinks and brough out food. "I'm here honey, I'm here." She said sliding into the booth giving Tre' food and another drink you looked hungry and you could use another refill." Jessie said smiling putting down a turkey club sandwich and some chocolate chip cookies with a white cupcake with strawberry filling in it. This is incredible nice and generous of you. I can see what they all mean about you now." Tre' said with a smile to her and Xavier. Xavier smiling proudly keeping her close to him as Jessie cuddled into his side wrapping an arm around his waist, as he kept one hanging form her shoulder down to her hip he was so much taller than her, but with such pride and love just rolling off him.
"Alright let's start with how you guys met?" "Well I just got out of a long relationship and Lexi packed me and most of our stuff up and we left and came south down here to get our fresh start to find our happiness. From day one I was attracted to this big lug here, and over the time of six months we slowly but surely got to know each other. HE was always here in the morning and no one else was so we really had a lot of time. It wasn't until I got a little push from my oh so charming partner Eric back there that I force myself to march right up to him and tell him he was the most beautiful human I have ever seen and that I was intimidated by him because over the course of us getting to know each other I came across the point that he is insanely smart. I felt like he was way out of my league with the brains and the looks." Jessie said looking down blushing. "That's all it took to give me the kick in the pants I needed. If she could finally come clean after all this time, I needed to too, so I asked her out right after that. I've been blissfully happy ever since." Beast kissing the top of her nose.
"It is rumored that the only reason you have been challenged twice by the man called Reaper is because he is an ex of Jessies?" Tre' asked. "Yes he is an ex but now he is just a friend. There may have been some misunderstandings but we have all moved past that. Reaper is still a good friend of mine and the rest of his crew to." "I have no bad blood with Reaper." Xavier said honestly. Even though he wanted to beat him senseless and wish the man would just let go and go away, he would never do anything or say anything to Jessie he loved her to much. He knew in time Dimitri would fuck this up all on his own. HE just had to sit and wait. "How do you think your careers impact each other?" "Well I would say one of us has a very dangerous job, it can be a lot on the mind and body. It can be at times very demanding and with all the training that has to be done and gone through, at the end of the day I am still just so impressed with Jessie. I mean seriously she has got people coming out from literaly all corners of everywhere wanting her products like junkies for a fix I don't know how she does it. I really don't know how we are not all fat. Thank god for the Devil's Ring logging in training hours." Xavier said making everyone laugh.
"I love going to watch Xavier fight, he has been putting so much of himself into this for years all these guys have and it is so amazing to be able to be apart of that with him, to see just how far they have come in the time lengths they have. I love that these guys actually come to catering events with Eric and I when we are short handed and help us work them. I love how no matter how dead tired they are they will always stop and talk to a fan, sign things, or take pictures and they never complain once. They are so thankful for every fan that follows them or comes up to them it's just so heart felt to see." Jessie said looking around to all the guy seeing them all turn red. "I have noticed a very interesting pattern within your group and that I think they are right when they say you are the glue because I think you are the cause of all this." Tre' said pointing around to everyone.
"What do you mean?" "Lexi packed up after you left someone one, so you both got a fresh start. If you didn't break up with that person odds are you might still be there right?" "Maybe I don't know we really hated it there." Jessie laughed. "SO you guys come here, you have Lexi always coming here for food, you out her to her crush after you score a date with his cousin. Without growing that confidence the day before would Lexi ever be brave enough to have gone for the Ace herself?" Tre' asked. "NO she would not." Lexi yelled proudly and honestly to him. Making everyone laugh. "Had you not gotten the confidence Eric gave you and if Eric wasn't so close to you getting to know both you and Eric do you think Xavier could have ever met him and got the chance to introduce Noah to him?" "No." Xavier said honestly as he was really thinking all this through. "If you two had not gotten together Niki and Kiley would not be able to have meet Ryder and Jaxon right?" "That is true." Ryder said looking happily at his woman. Holding her extra tight. "So the amazing thing to me is because you two had come to terms with your feelings for each other you have had a domino effect on these guys around you. It's all because of you Jessie. Your friend wanted to do better for you with you and now look where you are." Tre' said clearly impressed about the actions of one woman making all these love stories be able to become a reality. "I wouldn't say that exactly."
"I would it was you who chose this town love bug, I was just along for the ride." Lexi said looking her dead in the eye. "Hell girl you picked my apartment." Lexi said laughing. Everyone stopping to look at her in a lost loving thankful look. " To Jessie, may she always be lost just enough to keep the rest of us found." Eric said holding his cup toasting his loving partner. "To Jessie." They said out loud. "Not to add on to you r little theory bro but it was Jessie idea for me to get even on these guys and that's how we got here to this interview so if this kicks starts your career into something amazing you can write about this theory for a come back cover." Xavier said to Trevon as his eyes opened wide shocked at the fact that this girl just keeps getting better and better.
"Well I thank you for everything you've done here today Jessenia for all of all us. You are such a marvel really amazing woman. Thank you. You know what I think I got everything I need I just have to ask you guys to take some couple pictures and some group shots we got the photographer waiting outside he just got here. So after that this will be all wrapped up I just wanted to than you for your time and answering some questions. This should be out the first of the month for both articles. After the taking of about hundred pictures they were all done and got to go out to dinner to celebrate Axel and Lexi's engagement as a big happy family. Xavier looking around being completely thankful for everything around him, deep down he new Trevon was right all of this happiness and love all these dreams he and his brother in front of him were all completed because of one tiny little woman, his woman. HE kissed her deeply as the night went on filled with love and laughter and good food.
The room was dark she felt her hands being shackled above her head, and her legs being chained around her feet. There wasn't much wiggle room. The only thing she remembered was getting into her car and having a hand and a cloth that smelled funny come across her nose and mouth she blacked out and that's it. Her head slowly moving back and forth as she came to. The bag finally removed from her head as her eyes adjusted to the light they burned finally feeling like she can take a deep breathe. Her head pounding hard making it hard to focus everything around fuzzy and hazy she could not see clearly. However she didn't need to see clearly to know the voice that spoke out to her. "Good evening Lily."
