---------- Alvions POV -----------
We walked over to the body the rats were currently munching on. I kneeled down by it and began to look it over. 'It was clearly here for a long time. But why was it just now being eaten?' I thought
I look at Atti to see her standing there next to my head knight Eijirou. It looked like he was talking to her. 'At least they get along.' I thought. "Get rid of them" I demanded to the guards. I stood up and walked back over to Atti and grabbed the torch from Eijirou. I then went to the center of the room to see a large bowl of some sort. I stuck my finger into it and smell the oil. I stuck the flames of the torch to the center of the bowl and watched as the flames rose up high.
---------- Attis POV -----------
I walked over to Alvion to see him inspecting a bowl in the center of the room. I watched as he lit the bowl on fire. I looked around the once dark room to see a full library. "Alvion you are seeing this too right? I asked. "Yes'' he simply responded under his breath. "wow this is amazing, did you not know you had another library here?" all I received was a grunt in return. I walked over to the books and found some interesting finds.
The walls were painted a dark black, The shelves where the book lay were white marble. The floors a grey marble with a white circle around the bowl for the fire. The sconces were very detailed in gold with a black base. The many-colored book around the room
"Do you think there will be something in here that will help?" I asked. "There could be. Let's look around and see what we can find."
I walked over to a wall that had 5 shelves I ran my hand over the many books littered on the shelves. I stopped at a strange book labeled 'The Lost Stone'. "Alvions I think I found something!" I yelled.
Alvion ran over to me as fast as his feet could go. "Look do you think this is something?" I ask him as he reaches his hands out to grab the red book off the shelf. He pulled it out. It was a red background and black detailing along with golden writing. I walked up beside him and he opened the book to the first page. "Background to the Stone of the Oceans." was the first word written there.
We look at each other and run to a table and sit down. We open the book again to see a drawing of the stone with is placed on my shoulder. The crimson-red so deep that even the picture does not compare. I take the stone off of my shoulder and put it beside the picture. "This really is the real one huh?" I ask Alvion.
"Sire. We disposed of the body properly. Also, there is a guest in the throne room wanting to speak to you. She said it is urgent." a guard said with a bow. Alvion looks towards me. "Will you come with me. You will be my mate in the future anyway. Would you like to tag along?" he said ad he placed his hand on mine while I was still looking at the picture. "Yes," I simply whisper.
I stand up followed by Alvion as I grab the stone and place it back on my shoulder right above my left breast. I look at Alvion with a nod he places his arm out for me to hold onto. I grab his arm and we began to walk back up the stairs still in out half forms.
We reach the door of the throne room. I walk in through the front doors behind Alvion. He was in his half form. His beautiful red wings along with his long red tail dragging behind as he walks forward. I look behind me to see my long fluffy white tail behind me wagging.
I walk into the throne room and stand beside Alvion sitting on his throne. "Sit on my lap for now. You do not need to stand" he said as he grabbed my hand and pulled me into his lap. "Okay."
"Bring them in before I change my mind," Alvion screamed.
The guards open the doors to reveal a small skinny old woman on a cane. the closer she got to us the more I can make out her features. Long silver-grey pulled up to the top of her head in a bun. A long brown pelt used as a dress. No shoes. A branch as a cane. She stopped when she reached the end of the black rug.
She bowed to us as a sign of respect. In a creaky voice, we heard her say, "I have heard that you two have discovered the Stone of the Oceans?" I froze. I felt Alvion stiffen under me. I held my breath. 'How did someone already find out about this already?' I thought. I looked to Alvion and seen his eyes widen as well. I look back to the old lady.
She raised up to meet our eyes. She has these dark green eyes. Dull and lifeless. "Excuse me for my rudeness your highness. My name is Ersa. I am from the land north of Themyscira." "There is nothing there. All that place is now is for the dead to rot," yelled Alvion. "Oh. your highness, I am not lying. I am from the kingdom there. We have rebuilt it over the years." The old woman said as she began to laugh hysterically. She transformed into her half form and flew out the window to our right. "Guards follow her! We need to find this kingdom she speaks of! Now!" Alvion demanded.
