After waiting for a while the two girls left their mansion home and hopped on the bus when it arrived, after a long and boring ride they arrived at the academy. The two sisters parted ways from there as they always do, as they are in different years and so go to different classes since Chishiki is 2 years older at 18 then Akane, who herself is 16. Due to her position as the leader of MASEC, Akane doesn't have to go to all classes that normal students in her year have to go. Since the non-essential classes are left out of her classes by default unless she wants to do those as well. As she has her other duties to do as well who the school has decided are more important unless tests are coming up, and since Akane is a pretty good student anyway so she is not hindered much by this.
Having arrived at the academy, Akane made her way to the Ethics Committee's "office", which was just a conference room that wasn't being used anymore before the committee came into existence, so they got that room assigned to them. She seemed to be the first person there, not surprising since it was only 08:10 right now, 10 minutes after the school opens for the day. The redhead sat down at her desk and opened the laptop that was provided for her by the school, booting it up and logging in. After this, she grabbed a pile of reports of student misdeeds that she and the other MASEC members are tasked to deal with. Each time something happens any student may file a report and deliver it to MASEC's Office, or handed directly to one of its members whereupon it will be dealth with appropriately. Of course, teachers can also deal with these situations, and they do, but adults are usually quite busy so that's why MASEC was made, so the less serious situations can be resolved without the involvement of any of the adults and let them focus on whatever they do.
So, Akane grabbed the pile of reports that had come in after the ethics committee left for the weekend, as it is Monday today. "Alright, let's get to work" Akane would think to herself before she began reading the first report. "No way… why would someone report a stolen cookie?" she would shake her head and put this report to the side, she'll deal with something so unimportant like that later. The next one she read got her attention way more. This one wasn't a report of an act, but a rumour, where a female student has been acting very lewdly around other students near the gym area on the academy grounds. "Well, well. We can't let this continue. Lewd acts have no place in school!" and so, our busty redhead has found what she is going to do today, find whoever has been doing said lewd things near the gym and 'Bring them to justice'!
At this point, Akane's right-hand-girl, Yami Nashide walked into the Office. Her shoulder-length Grayish-Blue hair made it clear that it was her and not anyone else. "Hello and good morning, Akane!" she cheerfully said, walking up to the girl who is basically her boss. "Good morning, Yami!" Akane would reply, seeing Yami sit down at her desk that was placed next to Akane's. Yami would log into her laptop as well, looking at some of the digital reports, as these reports can also be filed from MASEC's page on the school's website. "Had a nice weekend?" Yami asked her 'boss' who replied with "Yeah! A nice and relaxing weekend for once. How about yourself?" Yami was glad to hear that Akane had a good weekend, as all friends would. "Well, that's good to hear. Yeah, mine was fine too, thanks for asking."
After a bit more small-talk, Akane would mention the rumour about the lewd girl she saw. Yami was as surprised as Akane was since these things don't really happen a lot around here. But that just means they will have to deal with it all the more! "That's so weird, We don't really see these things much, especially lately." Akane nodded, indeed they had not seen a report like this in at least a year. But before they can handle this one or any of them. They had a program where all the reports are logged in so that one can find them easier later. And this way you can easily mark any as Completed, Currently Being Worked On, Closed and the like, and so both Yami and Akane began logging the reports, each of them getting an individual Case Number as well. Each number is formatted as Year-Month-Day-Number from 0 to 9999, with 0 to 9999 being the number of the individual report that year, and if more then 9999 reports have been made that year, an B is added at the end and the numbers start back at 0, with all previous ones that year getting an A added. This goes on until Z has been reached that year, even though that has never happened yet but maybe it will, one day.
