“Serena?”
“No, not today,” I told Christian while I pushed away his face with my hand. “Just let me sleep in, don’t ruin this for me.”
As far as I was concerned, we had nothing planned for today.
“What do you mean not today?” Christian commented. I opened my eyes after I heard the sound of babbles and noticed Christian held Siena in his hands.
“I need you the watch the baby. I need to prepare your gift,” Christian spoke. That’s right. He got me a present. I gave him a nod and grabbed Siena from his hands. “She’s up early today. Did you interrupt her nap again?” I questioned.
“Siena, did you take a bath? You smell like roses?” I asked, surprised as I buried my nose in her hair. “Is Siena part of my present?”
Christian gave me a suspicious look and shrugged his shoulders. “You know what, I’ll take the baby—how about you go and take a shower. Alright?”
