“Good morning!” I sang and forced a bright smile on my face as I joined the others at the dining table. Almost the entire family, including Luis, was present, and it was a long time since that happened.
“Good morning. Do you have plans for today?” Luke immediately asked after seeing I was dressed from head to toe. “Just going out.” I smiled as I pulled out Siena’s chair and sat her down.
There was no way in hell that I was going to tell them about my meeting with Christian. Everything was going perfectly fine, and I did not want to ruin it. “Are you okay, Beau?” I asked my brother, who had a smile on his face. Seeing him smile was still a weird concept.
“Fine.” Beau smiled. Luis was in his own world and made his homework. “Is that for today, Luis?” I wondered, but he shook his head. “It’s for next week!”
“Next week!” I gasped. “That’s very good of you!”
