I paced back and forth my room with my phone in my hands and looked at the time.
3 AM
Would it really be okay to call him? Was he even waiting for my call? Of course, he was. He was the one who cheated.
I took a deep breath and searched for his number. It was too late, so I expected him to sleep, but he picked up, just like Carmen told me. He shouldn’t be up that late. Christian needed his rest.
Why was he up so late, and why did I care?
“Serena? Is there something with Siena?” He asked in a hurry. I could hear he was wide awake and figured he had probably not closed a single eye.
“No, Siena is fine,” I spoke. His voice used to cheer me up and had slowly become like medicine to me, but all I could think of this time was the fact that he was a cheater. “How about you? Are you okay, Serena?”
