“Chrissie!” I called out while Siena tried to do the same. “You can’t even talk yet. What are you doing?” I laughed as I picked her up.
“She’s in a good mood.” Christian chuckled and leaned against the door. “Yes, she’s in a better mood than you are.”
“Serena, we have to talk.” He spoke with a serious look on his face. “Are you mad about the Dario thing again? It’s tomorrow—I was just hanging out with the girls and took a walk with my parents.” I reassured him and kissed Siena.
“Look, she even happier today!” I told him before I walked towards him and handed her over. “She is.” He spoke dryly and ignored her while she tried her hardest to get his attention. “What’s wrong with you today!” I scoffed and took her from his arms.
“Anyway, she needs to eat, and she needs to take a nap—I don’t know what’s wrong today, but you have to get over it, okay?” I smiled and walked past him as I made my way to the stairs.
