Chapter 8 - Chapter 8: Opening of the Dantian Meridian

Two years later.

Toro is sitting in his room in the orphanage, trying to break through the first stage of qi condensation.

Sitting cross-legged on his bed, he directs the spiritual energy of heaven and earth into his dantian meridian.

Toro looks in his Dantian Meridian with his sense and sees he has already a big amount of his own spiritual qi stored in his dantian meridian.

This spiritual qi or spirit qi is naturally converted from spiritual energy through his dantian meridian, of course, the other Meridians have the same function.

While he could wait and cultivate a big enough amount of spiritual qi, that his dantian meridian will open the path to his dantian naturally, this method will consume a lot of time.

Toro would need multiple years for this, including his two years of cultivating spirit qi.

So the other method is to break open the path of the dantian forcefully.

While he tried this already multiple times, he failed every time.

Even the last time, where he nearly opened the dantian meridian, he failed in the last moment.

What is even worst, every time Toro fails to open his Dantian Meridian, a certain amount of spirit qi will disperse into the environment again.

Then he has to cultivate his spiritual qi again for weeks or even months to try a new breakthrough.

But this time he is confident to open the path to his dantian and officially enter the cultivation journey.

Sensing the dantian meridian, that is stationed under his skin in the naval area, Toro controls the with all his finesse to attack the wall that is in the direction of the inner body.

With the first attack, the wall is slowly showing cracks.

Gritting his teeth and furrowing his brows, Toro withstands the pain of attacking the wall.

After all, he attacks and damages parts of his own body.

With the second attack, some parts of the wall are falling off before trying to reassemble.

And with the third attack, Toro condenses all of his spirit qi with all of his might into an attack that completely crumbles the wall.

'YES!!! Finally!!! Haah haah haah!'', with sweat all over his body he pants while being overjoyed.

After the wall completely broke down, the remaining spiritual qi that was in his dantian meridian flows frantically into his dantian and invigorates it.

Also, after the dantian meridian is opened, the dantian is now connected to heaven and earth, so it itself tries to absorb a high amount of spiritual energy.

Around Toro, a little vortex appears made from spiritual energy.

This vortex originates from the dantian meridian that converts the energy into spirit qi and directly sends it into the dantian.

While in the dantian the spiritual qi is again converted, but this time into true qi.

This true qi is a higher form of spiritual qi.

A small amount of true qi then travels from his dantian back to his dantian meridian to temper, enlarging and strengthening it.

The same happens with his body, a small amount of true qi travels around his body to slowly temper and purify it.

Though this kind of tempering the body is ineffective and cannot even compare to real body cultivation.

Though for the qi cultivators who do not cultivate their bodies, this will still help a lot.

At least in the ninth stage of qi condensation will be cleaned from impurities so that true qi and spiritual qi can better flow through the meridians and spiritual energy can be easier absorbed.
