It's the same old news everyday. Suddenly, the door to the terrace swung open, letting in the cold wind. Lex looked up with a tired sigh, getting out of bed and walking towards the glass door. As he reached out to close the door, he felt something grab his arm. "Agh!!" Lex was kicked back against the wall and his eyes were filled with terror when he saw a Bat-like figure walking towards him.
"...Batman...why have you come?"
Lex asked, slowly getting up, "Is this revenge? For what I had done?" He questioned.
"If I had wanted revenge, I would've hunted you down years ago" Batman stated, "I'm here to warn you...turn yourself in before things get worse...the people of Metropolis demand Justice" Batman stated. "I have a daughter now, Batman...perhaps under other circumstances, I would have surrendered, but I cannot abandon her" Lex told him. "I can look after Leslie...but you must turn yourself in before things escalate" Batman stated.
Lex remained silent, sitting back down on his bed. "I'll give you some time to think it over..." Batman turned his back on Lex, "But do you really wish for you daughter to be punished for your wrongdoings?" Batman added, before he stepped out into the moonlight and grappled away...
