"Mhmmf..." Eunice woke up in the middle of dawn. Although they couldn't see the linear shade of the sun on the horizon, they can feel that the snow is subsiding for a few hours. The temperature remained the same as yesterday, a thick white sheet of snow piled up almost everywhere in the area. Even the large canopy of the dark leaves was covered by the snow.
"Good morning, did you sleep well?" Nikki asked.
"I did but um... how about you, Nikki?" Eunice returned the question as she pulled her body to take a sitting position. She noticed that Nikki is fully awake, no hint of rising up disheveled has been attached to her appearance.
"I took a little nap but I decided to stay awake for the whole night. Someone needs to keep watch of the surroundings while you are sleeping." She answered with a smile.
