This is the time when Eunice and Nikki go teleported as well. Well, all of them got teleported to a random place inside the mirage forest. No one knows how does the phenomenon works but there are a few theories regarding how the mist was being fumed by a substance that is not visible from the naked eye. This was further detailed by Aran but he doesn't have any evidence to support his theory yet.
Clarifying its effect without the proper materials and speculated circumstances wouldn't get him anywhere either. They took the risk knowing that they are going to be separated from each other which increased their worry. Fortunately, Aran expected that this problem would happen to them. Which is the reason why they are heavily prepared despite being separated instantly without any warning.
