They reach the lobby of the hotel and move straight to the elevator to get to the woman's floor. Li Jun decided to accompany the woman until they reached her room. The lawyer inserts the room card in but a red light flashes that indicates an error and stops the door from opening. The woman tries it again and like the first time, it flickers a red light above it.
"What's wrong?" Li Jun asks, his thick brows crumple together, showing a line between them.
"The card isn't working." Hwei Ru answers with a chuckle, she lifts both her trembling arms high and waves them while shrugging her shoulders.
"Let me." The male executive took the card from the lawyer's hand and flipped the card before inserting it into the slot under the doorknob. The light flashes a green glow and unlocks the door. Li Jun turns the handle and opens it up for Hwei Ru to enter.
