Blood. He was covered by the stench of its rustic smell. Trickling down from his fatal wounds on his forehead and shoulder. The trails of his dripping blood stained the pristine thin sheet of snow. While he scrambled walking through the frozen ground with the aid of his sword.
"I-I-I'm… n-not going…t-t-to… l-l-let myself die… l-l-like this…" he uttered with anger and gritted his teeth.
He continued to traverse the Forest of Ice until he heard gallops from afar stopping at the sight of his blood.
'N-No… t-they found me.' He thought.
With his last strength, he scurried through the cold earth to flee. He found a gigantic tree with its trunk hollowed by vermin. Coiling his body through the dirt, he hid from the sight of his captors. Trembling from fear of his life meeting its end without a chance to reclaim his true name.
"Let me help you."
