"Uhm... Do you ever felt discriminated in the workplace?" Kara asked looking at the notes of her friend on the paper.
"Me? I'm the CEO of L Corp. If anyone made me feel threatened they would instantly get fired, right?" Lena let out a confused smile standing up and walking passed Kara's chair.
"Right! Sorry, that's a stupid question. I'll tell that to Nia." Kara said nervously as she scrambles to find a more appropriate question on the paper.
"Is she gay?" Lena whispered on Kara's ears as the woman peered from her shoulder and into the paper on her lap.
Kara flushed not only because the executive saw Nia's inadequate note but also the warm breath on her ear gave her goosebumps.
"I'm sorry. It was just one of Nia's scribbles. Doesn't matter what she thinks... if it's not true." Kara embarrassingly scrambled to find a reason why Nia has written that note.
