"Ghost, you cannot fool me."
She whispered into her mother's face, who lifted her chin to stare at her light brown irises. The woman may have the same face and voice as her mother but she knew underneath the act, it was all Ghost.
"Do you think I'm that easy to be fooled? That I will lead you to my father if you pretended to be my mother."
The woman laughed wickedly and slumped back in the chair. She began to cut the meat with force making the knife clatter against the plate.
"I will kill your father, whether you like it or not."
"And I'll make sure you won't."
She mumbled, curving her lips while thinking of a plan on how she could warn her father of the impending danger in his life. At the same time, she had to find ways to keep Ghost from leaving the house.
After dinner, she helped Ghost clean the table and wash the dishes. When the entity walked up the stairs, she followed him until they reached the master's bedroom.
