She marveled at the charming house near the lake. The tall glass walls and the arched ceilings were brightened by the long stem crystal chandeliers. The elegant furniture could be compared to a seven-star hotel and the soft lounge chairs accentuated the sparkling black tiled floor that deflected the brightness of the lamps.
"This is Ghost's house?"
"Yes. Are you expecting a dusty haunted house?"
"Well… Kind of…"
"Compared to the richest people in the world, Ghost is the wealthiest being that ever lived."
"I'm not surprised. If he had lived long enough, he could have discovered treasures no one had ever found."
She mumbled and scanned the guest hall. There was no painting on the walls, no mirrors anywhere other than glass. The grand stairs on the side were like steps towards heaven with their intricate glass and golden railings.
"Where is he?"
"He's not picking up my call."
