"Welcome back Detective Sungmin."
Detective U Haewon greeted the senior investigator with a bright smile on her face. While the other officers clapped and chuckled to mock the detective who came back from a long investigation from Jeju Island.
"How's the vacation, sir?"
"Vacation?"
Detective Sungmin asked while shrugging his head. He knew they were teasing him after going too far in searching for the evidence to get the Mafia Lord. While everyone was laughing, he took a newspaper from a desk and rolled it like a bat.
"Kyaaaahhhh!"
He yelled and hit every investigator's head one by one while they scrambled away laughing at the senior detective's angry face. They knew he wasn't truly mad at them. It was their way to show their endearment as they look up to him as a father figure.
"Detective U, can you come to my office?"
"Yes, sir."
