Chapter 14 - Winter Choices

In the cold winter air,

There is a burning in your fingertips

There is a deepness to the dark,

One that calls you into it.

How can you trust the light?

The light doesn't comfort you.

The light doesn't numb you.

The darkness holds you close,

The darkness makes you feel warm.

But is it real warmth?

Does the darkness comfort you,

Or does it imprison you?

The light tells you the truth,

But all know the truth just hurts.

So, in the cold winter air,

Did you follow the light, or the dark?
