Anna took a deep breath. She mustered to place a fake smile as she approached Elena Almodiel. She knew why she had called and wanted to meet with her. And Anna had no regrets.
When Kristofer told her about what his mother proposed they would do, it didn't sit well with her. This was her wedding after all. She has at least a say to it.
The Almodiel's mansion was almost a replica of a huge museum. Trees lined the entryway leading to the front gate. Passing through the gate, a path curved in a circle with a small pond, a dolphin fountain sat in the middle that leads to the large house.
Around seven cars parked in the driveway and each of them were either newly released or are rare models seen within the city.
If Elena thought that this would intimidate Anna, it didn't. She hardly budged at the sight of grandeur.
