Chapter 47 - Toss coin

With the sunset on the horizon and his favorite cup of coffee beside him, Kristofer finally felt relaxed.

His car was parked outside his condo unit, and he was leaning against his hood, enjoying the perfect view of the setting sun coloring the skies.

Kristofer found this view breathtaking, and it somehow soothed him. He needed quite an enormous amount of that these days.

Sipping from the cup, the hot liquid burned down his throat. His mind was in chaos. He wanted to call Anna and tell her that what he did last night was because of the alcohol.

But that would be lame. That would be his cowardly way of telling her to try not to think about it. She must be bothered, just as he was bothered right now.

"What have you done, Kristofer? Just what were you thinking?"

Kristofer imagined punching himself. It seemed satisfying to be doing so. That way, he might stop feeling too guilty. He shouldn't have gotten himself so drunk. It made him scoff.
