Anna was still reeling from the events that took place the other day. But, finally, she was done with the Brett Prestman case.
Now, she could look at him in the eye and be a genuine friend. She no longer need the pretense of friendship.
But Anna was still no morning person.
She let out a huge sigh as she threw the covers off of her.
Some people are vibrant and jolly in the morning. They can afford to smile and make good coffee then post in their social media feeds.
On the other hand, Anna was having a hard time keeping her eyes open.
The bed was calling to her more than the need to eat breakfast and do her choirs.
Today, she had no set plans aside from brain storming for what she'd do with Jake Roswell, her last case.
At least for now.
She hasn't fully grasped the idea of shifting the agency's mission.
