Anna stared at her milkshake, its appeal had totally vanished, and she was left to pout as she dumped it inside her fridge.
Her pleasure of drinking it will have to wait, and she was left to let out a grunt. She let out a scream the moment she sat on the swivel chair.
"I should have stayed with mama for a bit more. Maybe, this tragic day would never have occurred," Anna muttered. She sighed as she turned her computer on.
Kristofer's face flashed before her mind, though, and the close contact they had. Her heart immediately reacted, and she had to place her hands over her chest.
"No, Anna. You can't," she warned herself.
The emotion she was beginning to feel was all too familiar. She had been down this road several times and had already learned her lesson. She did not need any repeat of history. To add, she already crossed it off forever.
Clearing her throat, Anna also cleared her head.
