Mr. Edison cried out in pain as he struggled to get himself free from the man's grasp. The man was just too strong for him. What baffled him lose was how the man grabbed him effortlessly. He tried so hard to resist the force but then grabbed him the more. He watched as the man savagely had a chunk of his flesh and ate his skin off.
He cried out instantly, as he got so scared. He wondered what this man was and what he was up to. Cold sweat trickled down his back, as fear instantly caught him. He looked around but found no help, that was when he got an idea. He grabbed the man's head and hit it on the iron gate.
That was when the strange-looking man let go of him and fell. Mr Edison who was feared by all and sundry because of how powerful he was, began to cry like a child. This baffled everyone who was around him. Everyone watched as he fell, confused as ever. They wondered if he was joking but as soon as they saw the blood on his wrist they got more confused as they tried to get their head around what was happening.
He couldn't stand up. The text appeared in front of Shiro again. He gazed in the direction of the man, so scared. Mr Edison had stopped moving. The text appeared that he had died and would soon live again, but this time in a different state. The text also warned him to leave that place immediately. It warned him that he was very near to danger.
He guessed that he should just follow the direction of the strange mark on his arm. It had warned him to stop Mr Edison from going towards the man in the gate but he hadn't done that and nixie Mr Edison was sprawled on the floor, looking dead. He seemed to have died. He watched to know what was going to happen next and to know what he would do immediately.
"H-he's dead."
The proprietress said as she gazed at the body of Mr Edison on the floor. Why wasn't he moving? He stood stock still as though he had died. And even though it looked like that was his fate, she prayed that he hadn't died. She prayed he was joking. She was so scared that something had happened to him. Everyone gazed down at him, utterly confused.
They looked at the man who was at the gate. He had fallen and had not yet stood up from what Mr Edison had done to me. She observed his chest to know if he had been stabbed or shot or something like that but he wasn't. None of that had been down to me, only the bite on his arm was what she saw. She gasped as she looked on. There was no way this could happen.
"No way..." Shiro muttered to himself as he watched what was happening in front of him. This was simply unbelievable. Perhaps the man had not even done much to him, it was just a bite that had lingered for four seconds or so. But why would the man bite Mr Edison? And was Mr Edison going to die just because of a bite? Shiro began to feel sick in his stomach immediately. He was still trying to ascertain the nature of what was happening in front of him but he did not understand any of it.
"It was just a bite." He muttered to himself as he stared down at the scene in shock. The other teachers were gathered around Edison, all of them terrified. They thought he had died or that he had fainted. Something about this sounded mysteriously suspicious. Shiro, who had been saying as well, knew that there was a connection between the mark on his arm and the man at the gate and the bite that Mr Edison had received. One of the teachers, a man walked towards Mr Edison and bent down towards him to get into action.
They would not keep watching him like that all day. He had already sent one of the teachers to rush and get him the school's first aid box, so they could treat the wounded man immediately and take him to the hospital if that was required. He continued to question the gym teacher who was still on the floor but it seemed that he was not going to respond. He did not respond or even stir. Mr Edison was not a man who would joke. He never joked and was always serious. Shiro continued feeling sick in his stomach. He couldn't watch it any longer.
He didn't know why he suddenly felt an instant urge to throw up when the whole thing happened. It certainly was jkt because he had seen the man bite off the flesh. He gasped when he saw that but the immediate urge to throw up confused him. He waited for more to see what would come out of it. The teacher was still bent over the man still asking questions that didn't get any answer. The other female teacher he had sent to get him the box soon returned and handed the teacher the first aid box.
The teacher bent down immediately towards Mr Edison and brought up his arm so that he could administer the treatment to him but Mr Edison stirred immediately. He was confused when Mr Edison stirred. He scowled at the man, was he joking or something? Why would he joke with something like that everyone thought he had died or that something terrible had happened to him? But he didn't seem quite okay. Mr Madison looked as though he had lost his senses. He looked so weak and stupid.
The text appeared once again and it read "two enemies detected nearby, leave the area immediately or kill." Kill? Kill again, he thought. Why was this bent on killing people? He looked at the scene again and saw Mr Madison suddenly grab the man who was about to administer first aid to him. The man tried to take his hand off but Mr Madison grabbed him tighter. Shiro's concentration also let him see the way the man's eyes had changed. His eyes were no longer the normal colour, it all turned to black. He gasped and stepped back immediately.
