During the afternoon, Alex is busy trying to figure out on how to extract the DNA of the samples. At first, he tried picturing out the DNA and using "Extract" but to no avail. He then used the skill "Analyze" to examine the samples. When using this skill, an information will pop up on the user's head. It is so useful while doing research. Why use technology when there is magic. That is the first phrase that comes into Alex's mind while discovering it.
After a few hours, frustration can be seen all over the place on Alex's face. He is stuck on step 2 on his master plan. After awhile, he decided for the his Slime Beast to use the extract skill while picturing the DNA.
One can command its tamed beast to use a skill for combat or any miscellaneous work.
Few seconds later, a very small light came out of the sample, almost unnoticed seeped into the body of the Slime beast. Alex was left mouth opened and after a moment, excitement is seen all over his face. He jumps up and down from being too happy and ends it with a victory pose. He had never felt so much happiness in his previous life. All of his failures flashed on his mind on his past life has been flushed out on a second. But, maybe its too early to celebrate, so he made his serious face and look at his slime. He used "Analyze" skill on his slime. This is skill is same as the scanner but the scanner is more convenient and long range and usually no one likes a slime beast as a contractual beast so it mades sense to use a scanner rather than this skill. A few seconds later, information popped up in his mind.

New information has been added in his slime, which now proves that his idea is right and its time to move up one step on his plan.
He pondered for a while on what beast should he pair up with this Metallic-Skinned Wolf and later decided that he must combine it with the highest level which is the Spiked-Lion King. He immediately takes the sample which is the tiny hair and extracted its DNA. He rubs both of his hand while waiting for the result, and voila! It is a success. He quickly uses the skill "Combine" to combine those two DNAs. It only took a minute for these two DNAs to combine. Now, there is only one process left, which is to create. And by doing it one had to have a "Create" skill, and alas, how convenient, the slime also has it. It is like saying, hey! I am a master creator. Tame me and we will create from scratch together. "Many have overlooked this common weak looking creature. Maybe they don't have any science class here. Well, all uses magic so it is understandable. Not my problem anyways, let's start creating then."
He excitedly shouted the word create and the slime afterward is engulfed with a dazzling light. No one can see what is happening inside the slime. The Slime expanded so as the lights, a few moments later. An egg the size of a watermelon has been spit out by the slime. The slime retracted to its original size after spitting out the egg. Alex ignores his slime and quickly made his way to the egg and uses the skill "Analyze". Information pops up in his head.

"It's a success! It's a success." Alex celebrates , jumping up and down, and later on realizes that it is in the middle of the night and someone must be already sleeping so he immediately calm himself down. Even after calming down, he is so happy that his smile is all over his face. He takes a deep breath and quickly reorganize his thoughts. First, he noticed that the higher level beasts retains it form while the lower one's element and attributes gets absorbed in the process. "Hmmm, how many days can I hatch this one. I hope it will be quick. I can't wait to see what it looks like."
" I wonder what will happen if I combine beasts with the same level. I hope something good will come out if I try it." He tries and let the slime extract the other samples but the slime doesn't respond. He tries for a few times before finally stopping. "I think my slime is exhausted after creating this one. Maybe having few days of rest will restore it. Let's see." He examines the egg again and decided to call it a day.
Meanwhile, in the middle of the campus, where the tallest building is located, an elder with a long white beard is looking at the direction of the dorm and talking to himself. "Strangeeee, why is there a light coming from the dorm. Maybe a student is doing something with his/her beast. It must be! the exam is coming soon. I hope I will see something unexpected and interesting this time. Ho ho ho ho ho." He turns away, walk into the dark corridor and disappears completely into the dark.
The next morning, Alex wakes up very early due to his excitement and quickly looks at the direction of the egg, which happens to be in the table. He immediately noticed that the whole egg became half overnight and there's crack all over it. He loooks into the floor and noticed egg shells are scattered under the table. "Wow! so quick!, only a few hours and it is already hatched. Truly magical, back in my world it will take days, sometimes weeks just to hatch an egg." He then started to search for the beast that has come out of the egg which would be easy base on the size of the room. He checks underneath his bed guessing that the beast might be hiding under it. But, he didn't see anything under it. He checks inside the bathroom but nothing is there. "Where is that little beast?" He wonders. Finally he decided to check in his bed and flips over the blanket. A small beast can be seen underneath his blanket curling up while sleeping peacefully. He facepalmed because he realized that the beast is in his side while sleeping all along.He stared at it and excitement filled his eyes. Alex: "This beast is so cute. Maybe because it is still young. I can't forget that fierceness of that adult Spiked-Lion King yesterday. It looks majestic. Maybe one day, this little guy will be the same as that one." An expectant look can be seen on his face.
