Chapter 26 - Bridge Of Gaza (1)

When Sylvester opened his eyes, what greeted him was an endless void of darkness. All the surroundings was inky and pitch-black mist that scattered beneath the whole area. Death trees and animal's bones that was assorted in ambience of a terrifying place.

But he feel like something was holding his thin waist. When he returned his face on the ground, a confused handsome golden man stared back at him. His expression bewilder and off guarded, but Sylvester only feel chills when the hands holding his waist tightened unconsciously.

"I hope you can get off me now."Iavis commanded playfully.

Sylvester sneered and calmly get off in the body of the pervert man. The windy breeze vaguely flutters his unpresentable black hair. His hood has been unveil in a while ago, revealing his handsome face. But Iavis feel foreign in this sight. Although the man has an outstanding beauty, he felt like it was not his. Like it was only a mask.

He frowned and also risen up from the ground. He wiped the dust on his white military suit and swiftly scanned the hazy circumambient. He lightly narrowed his eyes. As expected. They went into a different dimension.

Only a powerful mage can create that domain. Once a mage reached the five star level, their power will grew strong and able to create a domain in their compatibility. And this dimension was not created by a five star mage, this dimension needed stronger power than the latter, even stronger than their present powerful mages in their kingdom. Thinking about this, Iavis expression changed from time to time. He needed to report this situation to his majesty. This is not simple matter.

The occurrence of the strange power was a big disaster in the whole kingdom. The power that even he, himself cannot perceive. Just like opening a portal of the demon realm, creating a different dimension and...his eyes glance at the silent youth. His azure eyes shook faintly. There is no time for that incident, he needed to get out here first.

"There is a sign of life...there."

Before he can walk back, he heard the youth muttered unconsciously. His bemuse sight shifted and followed the directions of the youth pointed. It was leading to nowhere.

"You are sure trapping me here huh? Do you also create this dimension?"he did not help but feel suspicious.

Sylvester turned his head towards the golden man. His eyebrow furrowed, expression cold and aloof. His slender hands moves upward and a black mana emerge from his fingers. But it immediately retracted back.

"If you say that I trapped you here, then why I am here?"he answered sarcastically, "Besides, I can't even use my power."

Iavis pursed his lips. His muscles tense up and slowly, he sighed. His gaze shifted into the direction the youth has pointed. He did not expect that of all the people he met, he was confined in this dimension by this unknown man.

"I can't kill you right now. But remember when we leave this place, expect that you will obtain your death."he grinned amusingly.

Only Sylvester rolled his eyeballs. He did not pay any attention to this idiot prince and went ahead to a specific direction. He pulled up the hoodie of his robe and covered half of his face. He quietly scanned the whole area and saw that it was a never ending mist. A dark polluted forest. He scowled.

"Hanabis."he speak in his mind.

A cold voice answered, "Master I can't get out. This space was set in a different time."

"I know. I want you to broaden your consciousness and restrict my aura."

"I got it."

Slowly, Sylvester feel like his power disappeared but his senses sharpened. He bowed down and touch the wet ground. He closed his eyes and examine the dirt. His black eyes narrowed.

Iavis confusingly glance at the sitting youth. This youth was strange. Presently, he can't feel any aura towards this man. Like he was just a normal person currently. He scowled. Why would he pay attention to him? Right now, he really need to get away in this dimension.

Sylvester opened his eyes, "An orb that was located in the deepest part of this forest was responsible for transferring us here."he spoke calmly, "If you want to get out in here, I think we need to cooperate."

Iavis knitted his eyebrow. He faced the aloof man and immediately dissipate the idea of eliminating this youth. He's right. All he need right now was an accomplice.

His tall structures outshined the youth. His candid demeanor was not new in other's perspective for a rare occasion, like a helpless situation. Sylvester look away and started walking ahead of the man. He did not wait for his answer.

Just as his steps went close, an arrow flew towards his direction. Sylvester retracted automatically. If he was late, even for while the arrow will surely pierce in his body.

Iavis also avoided the incoming arrow. He observed the whole area and release his consciousness and instantly feel a specific auras towards the trees. Although he can't use his power, he can still use his insight to perceive the every existence beneath his space. He ran towards the huge tree and harshly kick the stem of it.

"D-Don't kill me..."a youthful voice resound.

Iavis froze on what he saw. His eyes showed an bewilder physiognomy. The one who was hiding in the tree was a child, age between five or four. His chubby cheeks and pale face was filled with dirt, even his dark hair appeared to be greasy. But the power beneath those black eyes was intense, and doesn't seem like fitted in his overall appearance.

The child beside him lifted his eyes with a hint of nervousness. Slowly, the arrow that kept appearing dissipate and Sylvester stopped dodging and convert his gaze towards the two person, unintentionally staring at each other.

"D-Don't kill me...I-I'm not a bad person."his childish voice carried a hint of tension.

Thus, Iavis relaxed his face, "Who are you?"but his voice still sounded threatening.

The child gulped, "I-I've been trapped here for almost a month. I d-don't know how to go home.."

Iavis furrowed his eyebrow. He stared deeply at the child's face and remembering all the person who was reported missing, but he did not remember this child. Suspicion and hesitation grew in his chest.

"You are alone here?" No matter how it explains, a child that is no younger than six cannot survive the calamity in this dimension. What's more that he can even use power that, Iavis even cannot because of the restriction spell.

"N-No...w-we are so many before...b-but the black men abduct some of the people. M-My brother and I survive. B-But a week later my brother went missing."his voice cracked, and a youthful cried reverberate. He choked and continue, "M-My brother said that when some people went near in the tree that I was hiding, I need to use my powers to scare them."

Tears continuously brimming in his cheeks. His weak and fragile countenance was now suited in his age, but despite the fact of the circumstances, Iavis remaind aloof and cold. His azure eyes glowed radiant and the child automatically stiffen.

"But how can you use power that even me, myself can't?"he asked in a harsh toned.

The child bit his lips in nervousness and hurriedly grab something in his pocket. He showed it on Iavis and the golden man already knitted his eyebrow in puzzle.

He hold the black orb and scanned it structures. He inject a small amount of mana in the orb and it lightened up slowly but it turned dust for a second.

"I-I already use it three times. It was an orb that the black man used to capture all the people. My brother stole one when we encounter some of them."The child explained, "W-When we...arrived at here, both my brother and I can't use our powers. And that orb can unseal the restrictions in this p-place. My brother went to get o-one for us to leave in this dimension but h-he never came back for a week now."he sobbed in his last words.

Iavis nodded and gently patted the head of the child. He moves his eyes towards the black youth who was silent for the whole time.

Sylvester pursed his lips, his black eyes mystified the ambience in present. He turned his head against the child and his eyes showed an amusement. He walk towards the child and sat down, enough for him to face the child.

"Your half lies won't save you."he spoke in a soft manner. He lifted his face and stared at Iavis. "Don't listen to him."

"He's a ghost."

The child stiffened.
