Declan looked down the street to see the area of the road he was passing. He patiently waited for his phone signal to appear so he could contact Roxy or his right-hand man.
The longer the wheels he was riding entered the mountainous area, the more uneasy he felt as if he had entered enemy territory alone.
Was it wrong to make a decision to meet his father?
"I thought we're going to Mr. Gonzales's place." Declan didn't know that his father had changed their meeting location.
"Yes, we are going there, sir. My master inquired you to his house to have dinner together. And he would love you to stay overnight."
One of Declan's eyebrows shot up hearing this.
His secretary had booked a hotel suite in the town because he wasn't planning on staying at his father's house. But since it was his father who wanted him to stay the night, Declan had no reason to refuse.
