"Run!" Zhenyi couldn't help but exclaim as the little girl gave her the much-needed attention but she was not acting on her advice. Hell, she was too stubborn for her own good.
Couldn't she feel the danger lurking near her?
Zhenyi took a deep breath and composed herself. She didn't want to unleash her anger at the little girl, she was already so terrified and she didn't want to heighten it any more than it already was.
"See kiddo, run please." Zhenyi stared at her through the black mirror. Her eyes were filled with unusual worry for her. "They will hurt you and your mom if you don't get out of here now. Run now."
The girl shook her head. It was a nightmare for her but the little girl was trying to be an adult here. Perhaps, the definition of nightmares for her would be changed today. Her body was trembling and the fear was almost overpowering and overwhelming. But then, she tried to suppress the fear.
