Love. The most strong emotion that any human can feel.
I've read books, I've seen movies, listened to songs, heard my friends gush about the cute boy who walks his dog everyday, seen my grandmother hug the dead body of my grandpa to her chest for seven hours straight, refusing to believe that her partner in crime, her bestfriend, her soulmate was gone. I've seen my siblings fight over the last cupcake but I've also seen them stand up for each other, against bullies twice their size. So I've seen it all, seen how impowering and pure love can be.
But I've also seen how love breaks you and completely destroyed you. The lengths you go for the ones you love, the destruction your capable are if your loved ones are in harm. That is love at its most purest, raw and dangerous form. And I never knew what I was capable of until I heard her scream my name with tears running down her red face as she looked at me too help her, save her like I was supposed too. Instead I layed there helpless, slipping in and out of consciousness, trying to get the knife that was impailed in my stomach out as the my sister was taken right in front of my eyes.

The loud shatter of glass breaking wakes me up from my sleep. Fluttering my eyes open I look around the dark room as a deadly silence follows the loud shatter. Moving the smooth silk comforter from my body I place my feet on the cold floor. Panick sets into me when I hear the harsh voice of a man. I think.
Picking up the baseball bat discarded near the entrance of my room. I clutch the bat tightly against me as I dial the number of the security guards cabin right next to the entrance gate of the house. The phone rings unanswered, as the sickening feeling in my chest increases. Opening the white french doors of my room, I slide a coin on the floor and wait for any sounds or sudden movements. When I hear nothing I peack outside looking for somebody, anybody.
The quite patter of my feet feel like bombs being exploded as I try to make my way to my younger siblings rooms, as quietly as possible.
I open the white door to my baby brother, Axel's room. A sigh of relief leaves my lips as I look at his tiny form clad in his yellow pajama set, sleeping soundly. I smile as I hear the loud snores push past his lips as he turns around a little before snuggling back into to the the ginormous teddy bear in his bed.
Closing the door, I roll my eyes at my own paranoid behavior. It could have been Mia, my baby sister, or even grams. Maybe I was just imagining it. I had to go and be this dramatic. But the security guard didn't answer the phone. I hope he's fine.
Shaking my head slightly I move past Axel's door and open up Mia's light purple bedroom door. Turning the door nob I slightly panick when I find it locked from the inside. She never locks her door.
I try to open the door with a little more force as the nob rattles under my hold. "Mia!? Mia, open the door please! Mia!" I desperately cry out for her as I repeatedly knock on her door, helplessly. Hearing footsteps behind the locked doors my eyes widen as the nob is turned.
The door is open with such a force that it takes me a moment to register the man clad in his all black attire and ski mask coming towards me with full force. I quickly dodge the man whoose attacking me like a headless chicken and raise my bat and hit him on the back of his neck with all my strength he groand loudly as he hold his bleeding head. Turning towards me with furious brown eyes he tries to attacks me again. He punches me right in my gut. Not going to lie, that hurt like bitch. I cough a little. My eyes water slightly before I look back at the scumbag in front of me. I crouch a little and get into a defensive stance, with both my hands balled up, one hand in front of my head the other in front of my stomach. He laughs at me before his eyes narrow and he speaks he starts to speak in a taunting tone, almost teasing me, playing with me like he's enjoying the anger on my face "Your sister tried to fight back too. Cute little thing, thought she actually had a chance. Now I know where she gets her stupidity from" his eyes rake me up and down before he takes of his mask and tosses it on the ground beford smirking at me "Come on little girl, let's see if your as pathetic and helpless as your sister" That's when i lose it.
I charge at him, my fist connecting with his face. Not giving him a second to think, I kick him in his knee and watch as he falls down flat on his face. He looks up at me before spitting the blood out. Trying to get back up. Before he could get up I pick the discarded bat up and hit him in the head with it, hard. He falls back down as I thrown the bat down again and turn back to him. I kick him near his rib cage and smirk when I hear a very audible crack. He doubles over in pain and starts coughing. I crouch down behind him, taking his arm and painfully twisting it behind his back. I take my other hand and grab his grey, almost white hair. "
