"Well, well, well! What do we have here?" Said a heavy man as he approached them, "Some office romance, I see!" He plastered a wide, shit eating grin across his face. The man was a few inches shorter than Henry and had blonde hair, which was thinning near his forehead, with olive green eyes. His skin was slightly darker than Henry's skin, however, they were still the same ethnicity. He was dressed in a porpoise grey suit with a pine green tie.
"It's not an office romance, Jack." Said Henry as he straightened his back and took a step towards him.
"Oh, that's right! It's an office affair because you're married." The blonde man sneered.
Henry rolled his eyes, "It's not that either." He scoffed.
"Don't worry, Detective Mason. I won't tell your wife."
"What do you want, Jack?" Asked Mei, already sounding annoyed by him.
"We got some new evidence regarding that Kyle Willson case." Responded the blonde man as he handed the manilla file over to Henry, "The lady whom he dog walks for, Claire Reid, claimed that Kyle kept on harassing her."
"Oh?" Henry grabbed the file from him, "Do you think that could've been a motive for Charlie Reid to kill him?"
Jack shook his head, "I highly doubt it. Mr. Reid has a solid alibi. His wife confirmed that he was at home with her the night Kyle was killed." He peered down at Mei and smirked, "What do you think, Ms. Psychic? Did you find the answer to this case in one of your prophetic dreams?" He asked in a very mocking tone.
"Excuse me?" The woman scoffed.
"Well since you tend to have all these little visions about our cases, I thought that maybe you'd have all the answers to Mr. Willson's murder."
Mei rolled her eyes, "Get lost, Jack!"
The blonde man raised his hands in a surrendering motion, "Woah! Calm your tits, Ling Ling! It was just a joke. No need to get all grumpy about it, toots."
"You are so insufferable!" Stated the woman.
"Oh, let me guess." Began Jack, still speaking in a taunting manner, "Is it that time of the month for you? Is that why you're so cranky?"
"Leave her alone, Jack!" Stressed Henry, clearly agitated with him, "We have work to do and I'm pretty sure you do as well."
"Fine!" The blonde man rolled his eyes, "You two are no fun anyways." He turned around and walked away, returning to his own desk which was far from the two of them.
Henry put his glasses back on before he sat back down at his desk.
"By the way," he began slowly as he set the folder down onto his desk, "In all seriousness, did you have any dreams regarding this case? I'm not trying to sound malicious or anything, I'm just very curious."
Mei looked over at him and nodded, "Yeah, I did."
"Oh?" Henry peered down at his folder and opened up the folder, "What happened in it?"
"I dreamt that Charlie killed Kyle because he found out that his wife was having an affair with him." Explained Mei.
The man looked up at her in confusion, "What? But that's impossible." He picked up a sheet of paper from the folder and looked over it, "Claire made a statement that she and her husband were home the night of Kyle's death."
"Well …" The woman sighed, "I know that it was just a dream but … I think Charlie actually killed Kyle and Claire is trying to cover for him."
"Huh … That's not a bad theory." Said Henry, seeming fairly convinced.
"Really?" Mei sounded very surprised by his response, "But it was just a dream. I mean, we don't have any evidence that points to their involvement. Do we?"
The man shook his head, "No, we don't. But I still think that's a good theory. So far, we only have one suspect and I have a feeling that he might not be the killer."
"Oh? How come?"
"Don Muller claims that he was at working overtime the night of Kyle's death but Charlie, his boss, claims that Don left work early that night." Began Henry.
"Does Don have an alibi?"
The man shook his head, "No, He doesn't. However, this doesn't make any sense. Why the hell would Don kill Kyle? He clearly has some disdain for the man for getting promoted despite the fact that Don has been working there far longer than Kyle has. But why the hell would Don kill someone who lives in the same building as him? It's just too stupid and obvious."
"So do you think Charlie is actually behind this and his wife is just helping him cover it up?" Asked Mei, seeming a bit curious.
Henry nodded, "It's definitely possible. Only problem is that there's no evidence to prove that Charlie did it or to prove that Don is innocent."
Mei sighed, "You have a point."
A few hours later, two men, without badges, entered the precinct.
"Well look who decided to show up!" Said Chief Wells as he approached them, smiling.
"Sorry we're late." Said a tall, grey haired man who was wearing a pebble grey suit with a dove grey tie. "We were stuck at the lab last night and had to do some overtime."
"Oh? I'm guessing you two had a rough night." Respond the chief.
"We definitely did." Stated the other man. This younger man appeared to be around six foot five with messy, ear length, jet black hair and enchanting, sapphire blue eyes. His skin was a pale shade of alabaster beige, almost seeming white, and looked very odd compared to the other man's slightly tanned, buff beige skin. He appeared to be in his early thirties while the first man appeared to be in his mid fifties. The younger man's full lips were a pale shade of pastel pink. His light appearance contrasted his attire which consisted of a black, long sleeve shirt, a denim jacket, tight fitting jeans, black framed glasses, and black sneakers.
Mei peered over at them, seeming very curious as the younger man caught her attention.
"Who's that?" Asked the woman.
"That's Brady Thompson," began Henry, looking down at the papers in the folder, "He's one of the lead scientists at Krylo Tech."
"I know that." Said Mei, "I was talking about the other guy."
"Huh?" Henry looked up at her, "What other guy?"
