"Where are we going again?" asked Allegra groggily.
"I told you, Allegra! We're going to the awakening ceremony!" Groaned Arrow.
"I know, but where is the awakening ceremony this year?" Asked Allegra.
"Ohhh! The awakening ceremony is in Firewing City!" Arrow explained.
"WE'RE HERE!!" yelled Arrow.
"Shhh, it's about to start." Hissed Allegra.
They walked in and the announcer cleared his throat until he seemed pleased."We all know that being a mage is what 63% of people want. But there is a 50% chance you will be a mage and a 50% chance you won't be a mage. And this glowing crystal right here." - He pointed to a crystal ball - "will tell you what mage you are and how rare your ability is. There is also a 10% chance that you will be a dual wielder, meaning that you can control two elements. Now, enough explaining! Who wants to see if they are a mage?" Boomed the annoncer.
Arrow and Allegra raised their hands without noticing.
"Looks like we have to volunteers! Come on up and place your hand on the crystal." said the annoncer.
"Uh, ok." said Arrow and Allegra simultaneously, glancing at each other nervously.
Together Arrow and Allegra walked up to the stage and placed their hands on a crystal ball. The crystals exploded the second the siblings' hands touched them.
"Is this supposed to happen?" asked a frightened Arrow.
"N-no.." whimpered the annoncer, backing away.
"The last time this happened, the mage of chaos touched the crystal. Oh no! Everybody run, they are the descendants of the mage of chaos!"
Screams echoed throughout the room as everyone was scrambling to get out and run as far away as possible. The guards started pouring in with mages and knights with laser swords. But by the time the guards got to the stage, Arrow and Allegra were long gone.
"I don't understand why they were attacking us, when we did nothing wrong!" Panted Arrow.
"Yeah." agreed Allegra.
Arrow and Allegra had snuck into the forest before they could get caught and they were both out of breath.
"Who are you hiding from?"
"AHH!" screamed Arrow and Allegra, jumping about seven feet in the air. They clutched their hearts and nearly doubled over from the scare.
"Who are you?" The person asked.
"Who are you?" asked Arrow skeptically.
"I am Eli, Eli Mainprize." answered Eli quietly.
"Oh, ok. I am Arrow, and this is my sister Allegra. We're twins." said Arrow.
"Are you a mage?" asked Eli curiously.
"I think so. Are you a mage?" responded Allegra.
"Yeah, I got spatial disorientation." said Eli.
"YOU GOT THE MOST LEGENDARY ELEMENT?!?!" screamed Arrow and Allegra simultaneously. Eli looked as if she was trying to hold in a laugh.
"Yeah, no big deal." He bragged.
"The announcer said we were the descendants of someone named the mage of chaos and told everyone to run." Explained Arrow.
"Dude, the mage of chaos is a legend! He was said to be able to destroy the world by snapping his fingers!" Said Eli.
"So Thanos was based off of the mage of chaos?" asked Arrow, glancing at his sister. This seemed nothing like the marvel universe.
"Yeah, but they made Thanos have the infinity gauntlet, purple skin and the armor so that it would be a little different." He said.
"Makes sense," said Allegra.
Eli, Allegra and Arrow were friends instantly.
"You want to come on an adventure with us?" Asked Allegra, even though they had pretty much nowhere to go.
"Sure!" Said Eli excitedly.
They then heard rustling in the forest.
Arrow and Allegra weren't able to do anything because they did not have any weapons or control over their elements.
"Hide!" said Eli, suddenly serious.
There was no hesitation.
Then an S class shadow demon came out from behind Eli at top speed.
"Watch out!" screamed Allegra, gaining the demon's attention.
