I am busy with my last surgery when Nita comes walking in and telling me that Nick is waiting outside for me. I have never closed up a patient so fast in my life as I am doing right now. It is as if the thought of seeing him has given me new energy. As soon as I am finished I tell the nurse to and bandage him up and then I take off my gloves.
I open the curtain that separates us from the rest of the patients and then I see him standing there. The sun is about to go down and the color of the sky is almost a red color. He is standing at the entrance and starting at the camp.
His silhouette is perfectly shaped. It is as if he is calling me with his perfect body. I can see the muscles in his arms bulging while his hands are resting on his hips. For a split second, I can not believe that this is the man that I am going to marry. I get to wake up next to that every day.
