The tension in the room was palpable as my decision was still to be heard, all of them looking at me with bated breaths as my fingers trailed through the table, my expression staying calm, yet on the inside, I had already decided on which course I would be taking, one that would be most useful to me, because in the end, no matter what happens, that one wish will definitely fall into my hands.
"I have decided."
I finally spoke, the tension in the room now sky-high as everyone watched me lean into the table, a small smile coming to my face as I spoke.
"We will fight."
It was a declaration that brought smiles to the faces of many. Some stayed neutral, and a few didn't feel good about this decision being made at all.
"Are you sure, sir? There is no high chance that we can win, the war council has the true monsters of this generation."
