"Shizun, stop it!" Fu Jie lifted his fist and punched Xiao Jingyi on his right cheek as he shouted.
Xiao Jingyi was certainly caught off guard but even though the punch had landed, it didn't look like there was any major effect of it.
"If you turn him into a corpse, he won't get a chance to reincarnate," Fu Jie added anxiously as he tried to make the man see the situation a bit more clearly.
Xiao Jingyi glared at Fu Jie and Fu Jie couldn't help but gulp with a bit of fear.
"You'll be trapping a part of his soul in this mortal world," Fu Jie continued with a frown, "Do you really believe he'd be happy with that?"
Xiao Jingyi took in a cold breath and closed his eyes as he clenched his fist.
"Shizun, please listen to me," Fu Jie added with a sigh, "We can't keep staying here for too long."
