Every story has a villain, a hero, and cannon fodders.
But it seemed that in the story of the midnight musician, Bai Ling was the villain, the hero, and the cannon fodder as well.
"Bai Ling, don't get in my way from here on out, and don't try to save me just because you owe it to my mother. You already repaid the debt you owed to her when you sent her back to the real world," Fu Jie spoke firmly as he glared at the man, "I don't need your help and I don't want you to act like a good guy in front of me. I'll figure out the rest on my own and I hope we never meet each other again."
Bai Ling pursed his lips into a thin line as he heard this but at the end of the day, there was nothing he could do or say in order to defend himself so he simply stood in place and nodded his head.
