Aayuki: It was raining very hard, but even in this gloomy weather I was very happy. Tomorrow was my birthday. My husband, Damien Smith and me were going to throw a party and invited many friends and families.
I was giving decoration instructions when my husband came to me, looking very worried and horrible. I was having a very weird feeling since this morning. I went to him worriedly and asked what happened.
"Damien.. what happened. You look worried, is everything okay. Are you feeling sick or something."
Damien: "Aayuki... we have a problem, you know we were working on this new project. Everything was going well, but yesterday someone from our company stole our project presentation we were supposed to present and sold it to the other competing company. We lost the project and our company is facing crisis. Many shareholders are selling their shares and our company stocks are going to fall. What should we do. If this continues we'll go bankrupt soon"
Aayuki: " Damien calm down, don't worry. Lets sit together and come up with some solutions. Don't panic or we'll reach to no conclusions."
Damien: "Sweetheart.. I am sorry for saying this but please don't take it the wrong way, can you please sell your Eastland Villa for money. I promise when the company gets back to normal I will personally buy you a even more good house for both of us. If it wasn't urgent, I myself would not have suggested it as that villa is one of your mothers memorial place. Please understand we need money right now or else."
Me: I was startled when Damien told me to sell my mothers villa. That place is where my mother lived her last living moments with me and my father. I have lots of memories there. Selling that place is like selling my mothers last memories with me. Still saving Damien's company was also important. So hesitantly I approved of his decisions. I hope mother would understand me and me decision. " Damien... we can sell the villa. How about we sell it now and later on buy it again."
Damien said: "Thank you sweetheart. I promise to buy the villa again. I love you. Marrying you is the best thing that happened to my life. I thought you wouldn't agree so I didn't show you the papers of the land I had already printed. But now you said yes, please read them and sign it."
Me: Damien why wouldn't I say yes, you have always loved and supported me, this is the least I can do for you. Give me the documents, I'll sign them." As I signed the papers without reading them because I trust Damien. He thanked me and kissed me saying he loves me and I did the same. Then he went out for the procedures and I continued my work not knowing that my grave was dug.
