we finally got to the entrance of the Gila's territory, everything looked red orange because of the environment we were in. "OK. Try to be quiet everyone." Whispered Quinn. We tried to be as quiet as we could, but a Gila must have sensed our presence because one came. We didn't know the Gila had a blind spot so the Gila still tried to take Lucia but I stepped in front of him to protect him. "We are not here to hurt you or your kind." I tried to talk some sense to it. "We just want to pass peacefully. We are headed to the cave of dragons. I promise we won't hurt you." We didn't know that at least one Gila could talk.
"Hahaha. You think I will let a human pass?" "You can talk" I said curiously. "Yes. I am the only one of my kind that can. Why is it that a couple of humans want to go to the cave of dragons?" "I'm sorry I didn't explain myself. I am Neve. This is my brother Lucia. We are the Fox Princess and first Prince. This is were my journey sent me. I was sent to save someone." "Oh I see. You are that girl that man kept yelling about. He kept yelling a name. Neve. I wondered what he meant. Now I know. I hate to tell you, even if I did let you go. This place is 2 miles long. I can't control the other monsters that come out and attack." "I understand. Mr. Gila?" "Yes Princess." "When I had my dream about my quest, I saw one of your kind attacking. I couldn't tell when it was just that they did." "Oh that. In that dream you probably didn't take the time to talk to me. I pushed you aside and took your brother then I saw some foxes and ran away." "If I may ask, why are you afraid of them?" "They have killed many more of us than we did of them." "I see. That must have been why they changed the law. I want to show you something. Don't run away please. I want to introduce you to my fox friends." "I will try my best." He looked at me and saw the Foxes and Raiju. He had a frightened face on, but didn't run away. "Don't worry they won't hurt you. I can understand them and they can turn human." "Wow." said the Gila. "I never thought they would be so colorful." "I know. When I first saw their form, I thought so too. Its ok guys. You can transform to human now." They went back to human form.
"Sorry Mr. Gila" said Quinn. "We didn't know if you would attack our cousins here." "Its ok you were protecting your own. Like us as well." "Mr. Gila? This man. Could you tell me what he looked like?" "He looked about in his late 20's or early 30's at the time. I'm sure he is in his mid 30's by now. It has been 5 years. He had white hair and blue eyes." "No way. That sounds like father. Do you know anything about a war that broke out 5 years ago?" I asked. "I have heard of it. A bunch of men coming to attack a village for some reason. That's all I know. I'm sorry I can't be of more help." "Its fine. thank you." "By the way, on your way back, why don't you come join us? In your human forms of course. I will let the others know you are friends don't worry." "Thank you Mr. Gila." "Oh and call me Jack." "Ok Sir Jack." "Good enough. See you soon." So we went on our way further down the road.
Things were peaceful for awhile until another monster popped out and went after us. This time I got captured. "Let me go!" I tried Zapping it with my lightning, but it wouldn't work. "Sister!" said Lucia. "Dammit!" said Quinn. Artimis and the others tried to fight back, but they fell along with their flying friends. Then I had an Idea. I screamed as loud as I could and the creature dropped me. Aries went as fast as he could to try do catch me but didn't make it. I hit hard on the ground. He was almost there too. "Neve? Neve! Dammit!" She's not waking up. "Quinn! Wren! fight that thing. Its sensitive to noise." "Holy crap that's a 2 headed Lizard about the size of a house. All we can do is get away. There is no way to beat it!" said Artimis. Aries picked up Neve, and Artimis got Lucia and Everyone started Running until finally they got to a place where the monster couldn't go. They still had a mile to go.
Once they were out of the monsters reach, Aries put Neve down and felt her head. "No fever. That's good. Neve got dropped pretty high. She is still breathing but she won't wake up! I have to try something. Good thing I brought some bandages." said Aries. He cut his hand like he did before, and dropped his blood on Neves head and rubbed it in. "Come on blood dissolve." (If his blood dissolved it meant that it was working.) "Come on blood work." It was taking longer than it should.

"Neve. Neve? Is that you?" said a man. "Who? Who is calling me?" I said "Its been awhile. Last time I saw you, you were 10 years old." I couldn't see who it was but I had a feeling. I spoke what I felt. "Dad?" "Haha. You know me to well Neve." "Dad. I came here on a quest to save you. I know you are not dead and somewhere in the cave of dragons. I am the Fox Princess. You also have a son. When we thought you died, mom found out she was pregnant. He is 5 years old and a splitting image of mom. He is the first Fox Prince." "I was hoping your mom had another child. Now you won't be alone." "Dad. Mom died, 5 years ago, from her sickness. Also a war broke out and I escaped with Lucia. That's what mom named him." "Haha. She would name him after me huh. Is your name Lucia dad?" "Yeah. Well mom sent me into the woods and we stayed with your family. Your half brother and his wife Frostine. I saw her true form along with Keelo's and the others. It was kind of cool. They are soft and comfy. Dad? will I change into a fox?" "I don't know Neve. Only time will tell when that will happen. Same for your brother. When you do come to save me, be careful ok." "Dad? I hit my head hard when I was dropped by the 2 headed Lizard. How do I go back?" "I guess that is up to your will to live Neve. Just remember your brother and the others I assume my brother sent with you." "Thank you dad. I will see you soon." "Goodbye Neve."
(outside of Neves head)
"Come on. Work blood work." Then the blood slowly dissolved. "Good it finally went." said Aries. The blood showed a light blue light and dissolved. They all waited for Neve to wake up. "Big Sis! Wake up! Pweese! Neeve!" My eyes snapped open when I heard my brother call my name. "Lucia. Ow. My head." "Neve thank god your ok." Aries hugged me and I hugged him back. "Sis!" Lucia ran over and gave me a hug too. "Its ok Lucia. I'm ok now." "Sis Friend?" "He is my boyfriend Lucia." Everyone already knew by the way we were traveling. "I say it again. Don't hurt big sis. I keep her safe." "I won't I promise little man. I wouldn't dream of separating you from her either." "Really? So if we did end up together we could stay in Keelo's village?" I said. "Haha. Yeah. I think its time for me to leave the village." Then I hugged Aries really tight. "Thankyou. Thankyou." I said in tears. "OK OK you two. Break it up." said Artimis. "Lets continue on." Aries helped me up slowly. I stumbled a bit and said, "I'm ok now Aries." "OK. That's good." We walked on and had danger after danger until we finally got out of that environment we were finally on normal ground. We decided to rest for the night since it was getting late.
"Hey Neve. How you feeling?" said Aries. "I feel fine now. I know its dad now that we are saving. When I was unconscious I confirmed it. I told him about Lucia and mom. I also told him about the war. After I told him all that he said he was happy mom had another child. He knew that she would name a son after him. Apparently dads name is Lucia as well. Hehe. I can't believe dad has been alive all these years. Won't that be a shock to Keelo when he finds out. I want you to keep the one who we are saving a secret ok? I don't want anyone else going crazy trying to get me through because of it. You don't either ok?" "All right Neve. Why don't you curl up on a Griffin and get warm." "OK Aries. Come on Lucia. Lets go curl up on Hazel and go to sleep." "OK big sis." "I got the blankets for you two." said Quinn. "Oh thank you." Quinn smiled. "Goodnight you two." "Night." I said. "Night Night." said Lucia. We both went to sleep peacefully.
The next morning we continued on our Journey. "OK." Quinn said. He opened up the map to see how many more places they had to go to get to the cave. "Looks like we have 3 more weird environments before we can head the rest of the way to the cave." "Which one is Next?" I said. "Looks like a forest of some sort. Lets go guys. There will be a lot of grass in that area. Lets hope we don't see to many monsters. OK lets head out." said Quinn. So we walked on.
We walked for Miles and Miles until we finally went got to the forest area. "Ok Quinn. What's the plan?" said Keyon. "I don't know. Artimis you got one?" "Well if your asking if we should go in our animal forms, I would say yes just in case. When we get out or get permission from the princess then turn human. If not we can turn human when we get out. That's my idea. Well Princess? What do you think?" Said Artimis. "Well I think what Artimis says is a good Idea. I know some of you don't like your forms. After this journey is over, Maybe I can find a way to break the curse and make an exception for the ones that don't want to turn back to a fox. Really? You will do that for us Neve?" Said Wren. "Yeah. You are family. I would be happy too. The question is Why only the Arctic foxes. Even some of your kind isn't cursed. I need to talk to Keelo more about it." "OK enough about this. Lets go. The sooner we leave the sooner we get back." said Quinn. "Everyone get into your forms." They did just that. Lucia and I walked with a few Raiju and 2 Foxes.
As we were going in, we thought it was strange. It was so quiet and no danger yet. "I hope it stays this way." whispered Quinn. "Big sis." Whispered Lucia. "What is it Lucia?" "Over there." We all looked over to where Lucia was pointing, and it looked like a strange fox like creature. "Quinn? Should I check it out?" "Only if Aries goes with you." " Aries followed me to check it out. We followed the cute little fox like creature to a certain cave. "Aries? should we?" "If we do, we should be cautious." We followed the fox like creature inside the cave.
