She was on the balcony. Soaking in the afternoon sun when she heard a steady thumping that resembles the sound of a knock. But, she didn't give it much thought.
'Who would knock on her door at this building. Luke knows her passcode, building security would call her if there is something that needs her attention,' was the thought on her head as she closed her eyes, loving the warm sun on her skin.
She was on the verge of sleep when she heard the annoying sound again. Her forehead creased as she sprung up from the sunbed in annoyance. She forgone putting on her slippers and simply walked barefoot to find out who was on her door.
She was too irritated to even check the peephole on her door or the screen monitor next to her door, and just yanked the door opened.
She was irked and she faced Noah's equally annoyed face when she opened the door.
