"No…no…it can't be," Jess muttered under her breath, disbelief at the way she was shaking her head.
"I mean, I can't be pregnant, right?"
She grabbed Noah's arm, her fingers buried in his skin with how tight she was gripping his arm as if she was begging him to tell her that she was wrong with her assumption.
"Well, scientifically, you can be pregnant. We barely used protection, especially when we were in Berlin. With you being taken away from me, I wanted to make sure that you were with me the moment I got you back."
Jess blushed deeply. The image of what Noah said flashed right in front of her eyes. She could vividly remember how Noah passionately and aggressively had her. That night, no skin of her body was left untouched as she shamelessly begged him to take her faster and more.
"You know that was not what I meant!" She snapped at him in embarrassment. Her toes curled and she felt a wetness between her legs.
