"Stop!!" She screamed holding Noah's shoulder, stopping him in mid-sentence. She was getting nervous that Noah had been acting quite unusually since he planned for them to be in NY to give Dana a surprise visit.
She was extremely happy and found the gesture sweet and thoughtful, however, seeing him on his bent knees shocked her to the core. Tears started to pool at the corner of her eyes and her heart was pounding like a caged animal, screaming to be free with how much it was beating in her chest.
"Jess," he smiled shakily. His confidence started wavering with Jess's strong reaction. With a shaking hand, he pulled the small velvet box from the pocket of his jeans.
"Will you let me be with you for the rest of your life?"
