I sat huddled on the ground trying to process what exactly was going on racking my brain continuously as I tracked back through my memories before the sudden switching of my body but all I could conclude was that I died and reincarnated in another world like most of the novels I'd been reading for some time now....., I chuckled to myself a bit my day's of boring office work had ended even as I was pounding with fear inside a part of me was excited at the circumstances.
"hey you're a system right?"
[that is correct master]
"you said something about oblivion what exactly is it?"
[Answer: Oblivion
second name:demons pit
Information:none
description:an infinite abyss of demons, a living nightmare incomprehensible for any human being
inhabitants:demons]
my excitement was soon out weighed by fear as I heard these words from the system, an infinite abyss of demons what other way could a person interpretate it but hell I knew it was commone for most reincarnaters to be put in a harsh environment but even then it was mostly just medium scale dungeons not some infinite abyss of demons!!.
I stood up and paced around in circles before questioning the system
"I do I have a level system?"
[correct: Name:none
race: shadow demon
HP:250/250
stamina:300/300
title:none
level:1
mana:200/200
experience:0/400
skills: shadow evasion(lvl1), Appraisal(lvl1)
bloodlust:0%]
sure enough it's just like the novels,Appraisal is a useful skill but why do I have bloodlust I don't like the sound of that but either way I doubt it'll bother me mu-, a searing pain travelled across my from my back as I skidded across the ground violently within seconds I felt my body crash into hard rock, my vision doubled as I slowly opened my eyes the pain was near unbearable and I quickly turned my attention in front of me only to find the worst type of monster to encounter in any game I've played, glowing red eyes and a body resembling that of a tiger with large quills protruding from its back.
you've got to be kidding me it's my first time here and I'm already being targeted by a hunter type monster!!
"Appraisal!!"
[Appraisal activated:race:felis demon]
guess I shouldn't have expected much from a level 1 appraisal skill although why can't I even get it's leve-
the tiger sprinted towards me at a speed I could barely follow it's claws pierced through my body with ease although unlike it's previous slash the pain was way more bearable than I expected.
[pain tolerance has risen by 1]
yeah that's common however what do I do even with pain tolerance this hursts like hell.....i could use shadow evasion to get away but it's only level 1 will it really even help much? Frick it it's not like I have any attack skills plus I can feel my life slipping with each attack.
"Shadow evasion!!"
[shadow evasion activated]
soon after my body felt as though it had split itself into dozens of pieces before reforming itself behind the tiger, I glanced at the ground and back at the tiger who turned around ready for a second attack.
tch I see it's a skill that moves me through nearby shadows....last thing I need is dying a second time if I can't run away from it it's only obvious I need to fight it, I glanced at my class like hands and back at the tiger quickly using shadow evasion and taking a hard slash at the tigers back side surprisingly a wound actually formed from my slash although nothing I'd call harmful to the tiger, the more I tried to attack the more aggressive it became.
[warning HP:110/200
stamina:130/300]
dam, it won't let up and my health is getting bad and so is my stamina, so far i haven't been able to point out a single weakness nor any pattern of attack...throw it off balance no that's pointless what I need is a strong attack that'll hurt it significantly enough for it to leave,.....god this might be barbaric and stupid however.
I activated the skill shadow evasion once more and quickly launched myself on top of the tigers back, my class sinked through the side of the tigers neck with ease followed by my teeth that I plunged into the back of its neck completely ignoring the pain I felt from it's quills, the tiger roared and thrashed in pain finally my attack was finally significantly damaging the beast.my body felt like it had reached its limit from all the pain I could barely hold on much longer till the tigers movements finally ceased and I let go of the tiger crashing onto the hard ground saying I felt weak to myself would be an understatement, this was true exhaustion.
[pain tolerance risen by 5
Pain tolerance:lvl2
skills :slash(lvl2), bite(lvl2), shadow evasion(lvl1)
experience:190/400
mana:12/200
hp:15/200
stamina:12/300
bloodlust:2%]
after using shadow evasion it's still level 1....sigh however I still gained a ton but that bloodlust I'm worried about it's effects...system can you explain bloodlust to me?.
[Answer:bloodlust increases ones physical strength ten fold, benefits of bloodlust also include a temporary pain tolerance of lvl 12 for 2 minutes and an increase in mana by 100,disadvantage of bloodlust include psychotic behavior, erratic and predictable battle movement although beneficial Its highly not recommended to use such methods in battle, behavior in bloodlust may lead to death]
I guess I was right bloodlust is something I should stay away from but how exactly do I turn it back to zero...forget it let's rest for now.
