Faith
"Are you sure this is the right way?" I asked. Modern clothes were so confusing! Penny nodded, anxious to see me try it on. I sighed and changed into the dress. When I came out, Penny gasped.
"Noah is going to faint when he sees you," she said. "And don't give me that look, I know you guys are, you know," she made a weird face. I looked confused. What was she doing? "Ahh, never mind," she said, wiping her hand downwards. By the end of shopping, my hands were aching. Penny's dad picked us up and we went back home. I waved to Penny and walked inside. Noah wasn't there and the lights were off. Did he leave?
"Noah!" I called. I heard muffled screams. Panicking, I went to the room. Noah was tied to a chair and his mouth was covered with tape. I ripped the tape and hugged him. "Are you okay?" I asked. He looked out of breath.
"Bad… not safe… leave… NOW," he almost screamed the last part. I shook my head, tears spilling out of my eyes.
"I can't leave you here!" I cried. I tried untying his knots but he shook his head furiously.
"Leave Faith! You're gonna get h-" he went limp.
"NOAH!" I screamed. He may have taken my family, but he wasn't going to take Noah. I stood up, my eyes glaring so hard, I could burn a hole.
"You know what? I don't care about Noah. He could sit here and die," I said, loud enough for the voice to hear me. I hope my plan worked.
