Patel took a deep breath and closed her eyes feeling the warm water that was coming off the shower head pouring down on her body. She was glad that she at least could feel things and touch them. She didn't know how long she had been standing there as her mind was occupied with everything that has been happening.
Only six days are left before that inevitable day comes, she wondered if they will be able to escape from here alive, some part of her was happy knowing that she will finally leave this place but the other part of her was scared of what might happen if her father found out.
She had witnessed the true nature of his and she is didn't want to witness it again, she could still feel the pain that she felt as he tortures her, he left her with no food for countless days just because she saved innocent people who he wanted to kill just for the money, her body shivered in fear at the memory.
Patel turned off the water before she warped her body and hair with towels and stepped out of the bathroom and walked towards her wardrobe to pick something to wear.
She got dressed and went to lay down on the bed, she was tired and exhausted and needed some sleep.

Jacob stared at Henry wanting so badly to just put a bullet in his head and end this family suffering, but that is a wish that he will need to leave it be for now as he has other plans in his mind.
"How is the training going?" Henry asked without looking at Jacob.
"Good, she still needs more training but it's going good." Jacob replied.
Henry nodded and said.
"That's good to hear, did she suspect anything?" Henry asked.
"No, Sir, she didn't," he replied, staring at the old man.
Jacob couldn't stop thinking of how this man is a cold-hearted person.
Henry wasn't a fool he knew what Jacob was thinking but he was surprised that the boy hadn't made any stupid move and tried to help Patel to escape, but there are still six days left, so he will see what will happen.
He was also aware of Jacob feeling towards Patel, the boy was trying to appear as a gentleman in front of her and he will use these feelings to his advantage.
"You can leave now." Henry dismissed him.
Jacob closed the door and left the hallway walking towards Patel's room to check on her.
He entered the room and saw her laying on the bed already sleeping but she wasn't covering herself probably, he walked towards the bed and was about to reach for the blanket but he suddenly stopped, he stared at her face and couldn't help but smile, his eyes went lower stopping at her lips, his hand unconsciously reached for her lips and touched her lower lip with his thumb lightly, they were soft and warm and kissable.
Jacob shocked his head hopelessly as he retreated his hand and reached for the blanket and covered her probably with it, he bent down and kissed the space between her eyebrows before he left the room.
He should keep his feelings in check, especially in these times, she needs him and he can't take advantage of this to satisfy his manly needs.
