Sensing his insecurities, Petal got up from here and walked towards where he was sitting, asking to sit on his lap and he immediately let her. Now that she was closer to him he was feeling better.
Petal circled her arms around his neck, running her hand through his hair. At times like these Petal wished that she was able to speak. If she can, she might have been able to say things like, I will never leave you or I will always be by your side but, unfortunately, she can't. So all she can do is stay close to him and use touch as a love language, hoping that it will say all the things she couldn't say.
