"Ezra told me you were seeing someone but I didn't realize you were engaged. That's exciting! When's the big day?" Milos asked conversationally.
"Next April," Eden said with a smile. "I figured it wouldn't be good form to get married the same year as family and I never really wanted a winter wedding either. The weather is too unpredictable, you know?"
"That makes sense. Lazlo and Emily got married in November and it ended up raining on them. It made a great story later though," he laughed, earning him a punch in the shoulder from his brother for gossiping about him.
The rest of the rehearsal dinner went painlessly enough. Nadia's family was warm and boisterous; she could see why Ezra liked them so much. Their little family may be terrible outside the two of them but they had both really lucked out in terms of in-laws.
