It must be nice having siblings. Megan loved her parents but she couldn't joke around with them the same way people could joke around with people closer to their own age. There was too much of a generation gap for some things.
"You guys are funny," she pointed out with a laugh.
Troy's ire didn't lessen any when he didn't receive the support he was expecting from her. "Thanks for backing me up there, Megan."
"You're welcome," she responded even though she knew he was being sarcastic.
Her expression made it fairly obvious that she was messing with him so he sighed. "Now everyone's ganging up on me. Whatever, at least I still have cookies. Sometimes I swear you feed me more often than my mom does."
That made Eden laugh. "Don't hold me up to her standard; her cooking is way better than mine."
