Eden knew she shouldn't be this gloomy. She hadn't done anything but watch movies today and it hadn't done much to boost her mood. What she really needed was to get the whole thing with Ezra over with and then indulge in some comfort food.
It wasn't like confronting her dad from the safety of the kitchen was the end of the world. She didn't have to deal with him anymore; he had gone back to Reno and likely wouldn't try to contact her again even though he knew where she lived. He never had before she yelled at him.
If anything, he was might not send her birthday cards anymore because she had been rude to him. Not that she cared. Honestly, it might come as somewhat of a relief not to be reminded of his absenteeism every year on a day she was supposed to enjoy.
"I have the message typed," Eden confessed. "But I haven't sent it yet. Can you make me push the dumb button?"
