"Apparently, this kid is Eden's half-brother she didn't know existed until he showed up on our doorstep," Troy said.
Jonah looked back and forth between the boy and the woman on the floor with wide eyes as he realized the resemblance. "How did he get here?"
"I took the bus," Tyler said in a tone of annoyance. "Don't talk about me like I'm not here. Who are you, anyway? And what's up with your face?"
That question finally snapped Eden out of her stupor. She wasn't going to stand for the man she loved being insulted in his own house. She sat up and glared at him.
"You better watch your mouth. This is his house and he can kick you out of it."
"It's fine," Jonah sighed. "I'm Eden's boyfriend, Jonah. What's your name?"
"Tyler but I thought he was her boyfriend," he said in confusion while pointing to Troy, who was alarmed.
