Chapter 46 - Chapter 46 Jade Snow Tea

Althea is very much familiar with the Waning Moon physique because, in her past life, her apprentice brother had the same physique. To help unclog the meridians of her apprentice-brother, she along with her master went to the Miasma forest to look for the Nine Turns Blue Vine braving dangers. Miasma Forest in the central region of the land of Dura is infamous for poisonous creatures. After spending a month inside the Miasma Forest, they found not one but three Nine Turns Blue Vine but the price they had to pay was not cheap too. Her master almost died in the claws of the Golden claw ape whose strength was equivalent to peak divine level expert. Even she nearly died after coming into contact with the venomous centipede.

But what did she get in return?

Althea never thought even in her dreams that the one she trusted and treated as a brother would stab her in the back.

'Betrayal'

Her Apprentice brother sold her out. He was the one who leaked out the news that she had the Dragon token resulting in her being chased after by the combined force of four great powers. She didn't understand why he had to do that. It didn't seem like she had done anything to displease him. Moreover, at that time, even she had no idea that the dragon token had connections with the flame dragon.

"Are you alright!", asked Ethaan who was watching Althea's expression turn frosty.

Althea regained her composure and replied, "I am alright. I was just reminiscing. In my past life, I have indeed come across someone with the Waning Moon Physique but looking back at the time he unclogged his meridians, I think, he only possessed a Mortal Grade Waning Moon Physique"

"Supreme Grade Physique is indeed rare. It's not surprising", Ethaan replied while taking note of Althea's expression. He seems to be able to sense something.

While they were engaged in conversation, the nearby spiritual energy started to rush inside the room forming a vortex. The epicenter of the vortex was Northem's glabella. Both Althea and Ethaan took a step back and watched Northem, both of them were calm. It seemed like they had expected it from before.

Northem was breaking through to the Senior level from the peak high level. After all the spiritual energy in the nearby environment was sucked clean, Northem slowly opened his eyes. One look and anyone can notice that his aura had changed. Breaking through to senior level from the high level is a significant event in every cultivator's life. One can be considered a true expert only after reaching the Senior level, moreover, the lifespan of a cultivator is also extended to five hundred years.

Northem stood up and bowed deeply to both of them, "Thank you Young Miss and Young Master. The debt of gratitude both of you had given me, I will never forget"

Although he was not fully aware of his surroundings during the time he was in pain, but he could feel the strong foreign energy that guided him in successfully opening his meridians. He knew that it was Ethaan who had helped him. Even though the young man in front of him looked to be only a high-level expert, he doesn't believe it after experiencing what had happened just now. The strength of the man in front of him seems to be unfathomable.

Althea smiled and nodded in satisfaction while looking at Northem who currently had an expression of 'A drop of water in need will be paid back with spring in deed'.

"hmm… keep working hard. Your future is bright with your Supreme Grade physique", Althea said.

"Supreme Grade Physique!", now it was Northem's turn to be surprised.

Althea explained the grades of physiques Ethaan had told her to Northem.

After that, Ethaan and Althea left the room and Northem continued to cultivate inside the room. Since he had just broken through to the senior level, he needs to stabilize his foundation.

Althea didn't go back to her room but she headed towards the garden. Reaching the garden, she looked around enjoying the blooming flowers. After walking for a while she came near a lake, in the middle of the lake was a small house.

Stepping on the bridge, Althea walked towards the small open house and curtsied, "Mother, Grandfather"

"Althea, you just came at the right time. Come and sit down", Hruth happily invited Althea.

Furiana poured another cup of tea and pushed it towards Althea. "Here, your Grandfather just received a packet of Jade snow tea and wanted us to try it. I was just about to call you now"

Althea happily accepted the tea and took a sip. There was spiritual energy contained in the tea. She had tasted a lot of high grades spiritual tea in the past including the jade snow tea but in front of her mother and grandfather she acted surprised and with a dumbfounded expression, she asked: "This is a spirit tea!"

Hruth laughed and explained, "Yes, it is indeed a Spirit Tea. This morning, Eliav delivered it to me saying that her father brought it back yesterday when he went down the mountain"

Althea knew who her grandfather is talking about. It is Lamberth Baro, father of Eliav and her Grandfather's youngest brother. He is also the elder of the Baro clan. But Althea felt that something was not right. She took another sip of the jade snow tea and casually asked, "How did uncle get his hands on such a high-quality tea? He is amazing"

"Indeed I am also surprised", said Hruth.

Hruth and Furiana might not know but Althea knew the origins of the jade snow tea. In her past life, she had access to jade snow tea because she was the sovereign of the Hall of Mage. This jade snow tea is found only in the snow mountain with a jade vein beneath it. So it is extremely rare, this jade snow tea is found in the snowy mountains of the north, and the powerhouse that controls that northern region is no other than the Beast Tamer organization.

Althea smiled and didn't probe further. She knew that her grandfather is unaware of the origins of the jade snow tea as well as the undercurrents in the Baro clan.

'looks like there is going to be a slight change in the plan', thought Althea as she continued chatting with her mother and grandfather while enjoying the jade snow tea.
