Everyone shifted their attention to Althea not understanding what she meant.
"Miss Luvan, even if you don't agree with me, we cannot be together. So, stop trying to climb on a dragon wanting to become a Phoenix" Prince Nuthir snickered.
Duriaz was extremely furious with Prince Nuthir and wanted to retort but at the same time Althea laughed out.
"haha. Dragon and you! You are too naive. Do you think you are already a dragon just because you are now a member of the Beast Tamer organization? With your current strength as a first-stage mid-level Beast Tamer, do you think you are above all? Let me tell you, in the central region those of your age are mostly at the peak high level or senior level"
Shaking her head Althea continued, "And what makes you think that I desperately want to hold your thighs. Don't be too full of yourself Prince Nuthir Fasio, you are not worthy of me, Althea Luvan. Today, it's not you who is breaking off this engagement, instead, it's me who will cut all the ties with the Fasio family"
Althea didn't even put Prince Nuthir in her eyes. She shouted, "Steward Gwen, bring me the paper and brush, today this lady will officially write the letter to call off the marriage arrangement"
Everyone present in the room was shocked after witnessing the unseen side of Althea. With just a few sentences, Prince Nuthir was rendered speechless and he didn't know how to react, it was his first time seeing this aggressive and bold side of Althea. He had always known Althea to be timid and a weak girl but today, Althea turned into someone else. She was exuding a strong suppressive aura making others cower their heads, her voice was sharp with a tone of superiority making everyone listen to her subconsciously.
But again, who was Althea? She was once a sovereign of The Hall of Mage, one of the five great powers in the land of Dura. Even though she now might be weak, she still had her pride and her soul carries a sliver of peak divine level aura.
Steward Gwen quickly got out of the stupor and went out to get the paper and brush. It was obvious that he too was surprised to witness the different side of Althea.
After Steward Gwen brought the paper and brush, he quickly put them in front of Althea.
Without even batting an eye, Althea quickly wrote the letter and sealed it with her spirit mark. Then she looked at Prince Nuthir who was stupefied at her actions and said while handing over the letter, "Here, this letter should reach your father, the King. And also, what I don't agree with you is, I am not a trash, and don't ever think that this small city will hold me forever. You think of yourself as a dragon, but to me, you are just an earth dragon, the lowest existence. And also, I don't need you to become a Phoenix. I, Althea Luvan will rise to power on my own. Only time will tell who will be more powerful in the future"
A/N: Earth dragon means Earthworm :D So basically in Althea's eyes, Prince Nuthir is an Earthworm (/>.<)/
With that, Althea simply left the room without even turning back. She didn't care about what others would think about her personality change. At first, she planned not to say anything and gladly accept the decision to break off an engagement because that's what she wanted to do, but Prince Nuthir's arrogant and harsh words especially not even regarding her parents made her change her initial decision.
Althea was not a pushover and with Prince Nuthir tearing off her face in front of her parents, she has reached her limits. Others may think she is overconfident and arrogant when she said that she will rise to power on her own but only she knew that this is not an off-handed remark. As someone who was once the most powerful expert in the land of Dura, she didn't even put Prince Nuthir in her eyes.
Prince Nuthir was dumbfounded at Althea's action.
Who was the one who wanted to break the engagement!
Although Furiana and Duriaz were surprised to see Althea's bold action, they were quite proud of Althea at this moment.
"Prince Nuthir, you got what you wanted. Now the Luvan family and Fasio family no longer share any ties from today, you may leave now" Duriaz said while showing the way out to Prince Nuthir.
"The Luvan family, I will remember this humiliation" with that he flicked his sleeves and left the mansion.
"I didn't expect to see the bold side of our daughter today," said Furiana with a smile on her face.
"She wants to become strong but I am afraid that her spirit seed..." Furiana frowned when she thought about Althea's spirit seed.
Duriaz patted her shoulder and said, "Trust our daughter, she said she will become powerful. She might have her way"
"I hope so, let me go and check on her"
"No, don't. Just give her some space" Duriaz quickly stopped her.
Althea went back to her room and continued to cultivate. she doesn't seem to be bothered by what happened just now.
Looking at her yellow spirit, Althea was currently thinking about how and from where to start to become an inscriptionist. She had only a little knowledge about inscriptionists. Alchemy and beast taming were not a problem for her. She was a peak divine level alchemy in her past life and even though she was not a beast tamer, due to her interest she was quite knowledgeable about some basics.
Of course for resources about Beast taming she had to gather them on her own. But now the most important thing was she didn't know even the basics about inscriptionists.
After she breaks through to the third stage, she will be able to use cultivation techniques, and skills and can consume pills.
This means when you step into the third stage of the low level you are officially embarking on the journey of cultivation.
Althea could sense that after possessing five spirit lights, her spiritual energy absorption rate was multiplied and she could feel that she was not far away from breaking through to the third stage.
She has no worries about cultivation techniques and skills, as a sovereign, she possessed many heaven-grade techniques which she had already practiced to the level of perfection. But what worries her was after breaking through the third stage, where will she find some good inscription books here in the southern region. Besides that, she had to buy inscription ink and brush and practice drawing the spiritual runes.
Cultivation techniques and skills are divided into Sky, Earth, and Heaven grade.
With no one to guide her, she knew that it will not be easy for her to become an inscriptionist. So, at this moment she made a very important decision.
'I think he will do for now' thought Althea as she quickly got up and left the room.
