Levi worked poorly and he knew it in the worst way of what he considers bad. He was being investigated. Levi was never investigated for his crimes and this was his biggest nightmare, he knew he had missed something in his eyes when he killed his father and made it look like a suicide, any miserable drop of blood out of place could have passed on his inspection. And now he was in an interrogation room, arrested, for being the main suspect in his father's death.
Levi lifted his head when he heard a click on the lock on the door, which indicated that someone was entering. The door opened to reveal a tall man with brown hair holding a briefcase that probably contained the clues to the crime. The man sat across from her in the empty chair across the iron table.
"Mister Fontana, it's a pleasure to have you in my humble room. You don't know how much I wanted you here, sitting in the same chair that you are now." The man spoke with a scornful smile. "By the way, I'm Josh Hutcherson"
"I know who you are" Levi said rolling his eyes. He hated the Hutcherson man. The man in front of him lived to torment his days and get in his way.
"I know you know. But come on" Hutcherson leaned down to prop his elbows on the table and closed his eyes at Levi. "What do you think of telling me how you killed your father?"
"I didn't kill my father"
"I do not believe!" Hutcherson clapped his hands on the iron table with a loud noise.
"Since you don't believe me, then give me proof that it was me. Come on, where's the evidence?" Levi spoke by changing his voice tone
"Look here, stupid boy, don't raise your voice to me! The authority here is me!" Hutcherson spoke raising his hand pointing to Levi's face.
'A great authority, I'm even scared' Levi scoffed, of course he wouldn't say that out loud. He was not suicidal
Levi saw Hutcherson sit back in the chair and open the folder he brought with him. The man in front of him was going over some unreadable things for Levi, so the man turned to him again.
"Mr. Fontana. Where were you between 6:39 pm and 8:00 pm on April 14?" Hutcherson spoke by tapping the pen on the file.
Levi smiled internally, he had calculated everything perfectly. "I was at the Holy club with some friends"
Levi had been studying how to kill his father for months on end. In the end he decided to poison his father, leaving the poison in his night water that he knew his father always drank at night. His conversation with his father was still fresh in his memory.
"Levi, I regret everything I got you through ... if I could I would go back in time and do it all over again, only this time I would do it right ..."
Levi left his thoughts and saw Hutcherson talking on the phone. Levi would bet he would be talking to the owner of the Holy club.
Hutcherson hung up the phone, resting the phone on the table, he ran his right hand over his face, making an expression of disgust.
"Really... it looks like you have a solid alibi. I'm going to send a policeman to let you go, but don't relax, I'm still investigating you" Hutcherson closed the folder with a loud snap and left the room.
Levi shook his head a little to get a few strands of his black hair out of his eyes. He noticed a man entering the door coming towards him, he nodded and offered to open his handcuffs. As soon as the grip of the handcuffs left his wrist, Levi massaged them and got up from his chair towards the door, but was stopped by the policeman's voice.
"The deputy wants to see you, go to the second room on the left and he'll be waiting for you."
Levi nodded and headed for the room indicated by the policeman. He opened the door and found himself facing the deputy, who was a man of medium height with white hair and thinning hair.
"Mr. Fontana, please have a seat." The deputy pointed to the chair in front of his desk. Levi nodded and sat in the padded chair looking at the iden resting on the table. what
"Deputy John Moscardi"
"Mr. Fontana, you are free to travel outside the city. But always have your phone, anything we call you. I'm going to return your phone. "Deputy Moscardi spoke, waving to Levi. He saw the deputy get up from his chair and go on a shelf, pulling out a drawer, he pulled out a plastic bag with his phone inside. The delegate went back to his desk and handed the phone to Levi
"Thank you, Deputy. Excuse me." Levi left the sheriff's office and headed for the police station exit. He stopped on the sidewalk of the police station and thought about what he would do, he was broke, without his car and was far from home.
Levi took the bag from his cell phone and opened it, taking out his phone. He threw the bag on the street and turned on the screen, it had only 20% battery, enough for a phone call. Levi opened the contacts and it was in the letter H, he would call his best friend, Henry.
Henry Clay - 'call'
Levi pressed the call button and put the phone to his ear and waited for the call to be answered.
"Hello"
"Henry? I need a favor from you"
"Got in trouble again, Levi?"
"Yes, but this problem is much more dangerous"
"Where are you? I'm going to pick you up"
"In front of the police station"
"At the police station !? Have you been arrested !? Do you have shit in your head !? Is your brain eating too !?" Henry shouted on the other end of the line.
Levi pushed the phone away from his ear due to the noise that Henry's screams made.
"Henry, just come and get me, okay? I'm at the 6th police station. I'll tell you everything that happened on the way."
"Okay, I'm going over there" Henry
Levi waited for a few minutes for Henry until he saw the black car approaching and parking in front of him on the street. He opened the passenger door and got into the car wearing his seat belt.
"Come on Levi, I want to know everything that happened" Henry said, starting the car.
